Short trip to just get away
Very peaceful, well-kept, woodsy type of Campground beautiful Lake. The sunrise was awesome. Squirrels feeding in the trees had a great time

We stayed the weekend before Halloween and it was a very busy weekend in the campground. Some sites were extravagantly decorated and trick or treating following a golf cart parade was fun. The park is nice. The only reason I did give 5 stars is because the boardwalks over the lake were in desperate need of repair and unsafe.
We reserved a spot on the lake with a sideways site so the side windows faced the water. Very pretty sunset views. No other RV’s anywhere near us. (It was a Sunday evening). This campground has no Wifi. Cell service was 1 to 2 bars, hotspot worked sometimes. The check-in staff didn’t give us a map so recommended screenshotting the one on their website. We were only there for the night but it was the prettiest and most relaxing site of our 4000 mile trip.
Perfect location for a weekend retreat traveling from South La. Huge lake for paddling and the doggos to swim. Will definitely be returning.
Seriously one of the more relaxing parks we've been to in a while. Plenty of space between sites, lots of trees and water views! We were in site 4, which was quite level and easy to back in to. Also had full hookups!!! No loud golf carts this week either! Our site was around 35 dollars a night with taxes. Family and pet friendly.
We visited during quarantine so we could not rent canoes, kayaks, paddle boats or do the zip line but quiet little place. It kept up well. Beach area and a couple play areas. Lots of fishing going on (never saw anyone catch anything). Nice cabins to rent too. We found a hiking trail and rode bikes
