Description
Chamberlain Road (FS 2251) cuts through mixed woods of Hiawatha National Forest in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, running flat and well-graded through second-growth forest with multiple pull-offs roomy enough for RVs along its length. The canopy provides morning shade and the surroundings are consistently quiet — though summer months bring aggressive mosquitoes, so come prepared. Munising is a short drive away for resupply and connectivity; cell signal at the site itself is minimal.
