Short hike to the lake. Great beach area and shower facilities. Pet friendly, horse trails, camp store. Liberty is a short drive and has all essentials plus J’s Dairy Inn 🤤

This campground is in a state park just north of Brookville lake. In fact you can access Brookville lake from the park. The campground is clean. Standard sized campsites. I believe most of the campsites are electric of which there are 330 individual sites. The restrooms and showers were clean. However, I believe there were only two bathroom/shower houses on the property. Not a whole Lotta area for Bank fishing so if you went fishing it was usually crowded. You could rent canoes or boats at $10 per hour. I spent a lot of my time on the hiking trails of which there are several. They are well marked and well traveled.

Site 239 worked well for our Apex Nano 193. The bathroom stayed open until till and is brand new. Hiking was great. Fire pit was fine. Site is all asphalt and cell service was great with Sprint/Tmobile and ATT.

I remember coming here for years, in diapers even and I’m 47 now. Brought my kids and my grandkids. I have been there almost every weekend for the past 2 months. I absolutely love camping here and would recommend it to everyone. Thanks for so many good memories ❤️

Busy, fun atmosphere this weekend but quiet enough in our area. We stayed across from the playground in Loop B and it felt less crowded because we were across from a field. Plenty of trees for shade. Beautiful area.

Friendly staff great for the whole family

I came here and stayed in my tent (family had their horse trailer with camper) for a night during the chilly nights of October. I wish all campsites were like these - very, very spread out! 

Totally makes sense given that you have large horse trailers/campers and also horses at each site, but even then, they were very spread out and had lots of great space to actually enjoy nature. 

In terms of trails, there was a starting access point at the horse campground for horseback riding trails that also led to the horse barn, but if you are wanting to hike, you have to drive, unfortunately. Another flaw is that the bathrooms in the horse campground aren't modern and they're pit toilets. Even with the cooler weather, they still wreaked and were not pleasant to use.

Whitewater Memorial State Park is located close to Liberty Indiana and is our favorite between the two major parks on Brookville Lake. It has water access to both Brookville and Whitewater lakes. The campground facilities are newly updated with two large shower/bath houses. A few of the campsites are buddy sites that allow you to camp with a friend and share the same area. Many fishermen and kayakers frequent the lake trails.

Beautiful, nice beach, peaceful sites

Beautiful park, with lots of hiking trails although it is sad to see the amount of litter all along the trails we hiked ( 7 miles worth). A very well stocked camping store with friendly staff. 

New pit toilets were very clean and potable water station are located throughout campgrounds. 

Watch out for the 🦝 raccoons they are pretty aggressive and were all over our campsite. Clearly they are used to getting handouts, so keep your foodstuffs in you vehicle or well secured.

Large camp sites

Conveniently located just South of Liberty, Indiana. Access to the Brookville Lake. Playground available. Beach area available. Easy to reserve through the In.gov website. Many things to do.

This is a great place to swim, very quiet. There are plenty of places for picnics and a nice campground.

awesome fishing lake with tons of good spots to fish. we love spending our weekends here.

this has been a family favorite for years but the bathrooms do need some TLC. overall a great place to camp !!

Nice sites. Diverse group of campers. Anything from people with full size house refrigerators in bed of pickup truck to people with their pet rabbits

It was cold but had a great time with family
