Beautiful place!
We had a great two night visit right on the creek! Rented kayaks for a 3 mile adventure! Owners are super friendly and helpful. I would advise to camp during the week for a less crowded time. Would love to come back!

This was recommended to me from a friend. Very clean and well kept, smaller but with direct access to an awesome creek. Kids played in the creek all day long. Cheap and plentiful firewood. Really friendly and family owned
Fantastic place to camp. Full hookup sites, and tent camp sites on sugar creek. The creek is loaded with small mouth bass, some large mouth, gar, bluegill, and carp. The campground offers tubing excursions, but I advise booking that in advance, as they sell out of spots often. Love going there at least once every year.
We really enjoyed our stay here. We arrived on Thursday on April 29th and the place was empty. Some of the sites are pretty close together, but we booked site 41 which is a double site. I'd highly recommend this site. It backs up to Sugar Creek which is just gorgeous in the spring. We saw all kinds of birds, turtles, frogs and even a couple snakes. We fished in the ponds and my husband caught a bass, and I caught a catfish. It's a nice place to walk around, though we were wandering past empty tent spots so in the busy season it might be less free-form on where you can roam. The place filled up on Friday of course, and the neighbors are pretty close on the non-camp side since all the fire pits are behind the spaces so you see everyone. But the creek more than makes up for it. The staff is very friendly. During the week they'll deliver wood to your site. We got a huge pile for $30. Weekends they have it available for you to buy at the check-in building. There's a Walmart about 5 mins away which is nice. The firepits do not have cooking grates, so we went and bought a cooking tripod. Everything is very clean, even the port-a-potties back by the primitive camping sites. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend one of the sites directly on the creek. I would say a weekday stay is going to be a wonderful experience, and a weekend stay will be a bit crowded, but beautiful anyway if you get a site on the creek. I would image we'll be back, and we'll definitely be staying in site 41.
This camp ground is our go to for camping close to Turkey Run!
We love the family friendly atmosphere, and all of the extras they offer for the kids! There is a great pond for fishing, and there are lots of fish to catch!
The sites are a great size, and very well maintained!
The owners are simply amazing! I greatly appreciate how strictly they enforce the rules of the grounds! We never have to worry about being kept up all night, or crazy neighbors!
Their river trips are amazing! Their equipment is clean and well cared for! If you are looking for a campground or water excursion close to Turkey Run, look no further! This is it!
Sitting right on the banks of Sugar Creek. Offers kayaking, canoeing, and tubing. Very clean and well maintained campground. Perfect for RVs and renters. Stayed 2 weeks in June and have absolutely no complaints!
This place is beautiful and just a great place to enjoy the outdoors with many options to do (disc golf, canoe, tube, kayak rentals.) Highly recommend!
