Hard Labor Creek State Park Campground, near Rutledge, Georgia, is a solid spot for campers looking to unwind in a rural setting. With a mix of tent sites, RV spots, and cozy cabins, there's something for everyone, whether you're roughing it or seeking a bit of comfort.

A lakeside beach is popular with swimmers during summer months, and more than 24 miles of trails are available for hikers and horseback riders. Horse owners even have their own private camping area near stalls. Other overnight guests can choose from fully equipped cottages or a modern campground.   
  
 Located between Madison and Covington off I-20, The Creek Golf Course provides one of Georgias best golf values, along with a pro shop, driving range, rental carts and special rates for seniors and children. The 18-hole course is a favorite for its challenging layout and well maintained greens combined with a pristine, natural setting. The first hole has been called "the hardest starting hole in Georgia."

A ParkPass is required for all vehicles. Price for ParkPasses are not included with the reservation. Overnight guests pay only one ParkPass fee for the duration of their stay. The daily ParkPass is valid at all state parks visited the same day and is not valid at state historic sites.   
  
ParkPass fees are as follow:   
1-12 passenger vehicles $5 per day or $50 annual ParkPass;  
13-30 passenger vehicles $30 per day or $75 annual ParkPass;   
31 or more passenger vehicles $70 per day or $250 annual ParkPass;   
Georgia active duty military/veterans $3.75 per day or $37.50 annual ParkPass.

Hard Labor Creek State Park Campground

I went camping here with my family a couple years ago. Very nice and relaxing. Loved the campground and will definitely go back. We stayed at a electric and water site for our pop up.
