Friendly and Quiet
Very Friendly staff. Easy to access sites. Beautiful Trees separate sites.

Don’t let the dilapidated old white 2-story that greets you upon entry to this RV Park scare you off – once you get passed this rickety building that’s been condemned, the rest of the place is actually pretty dang nice (as far as RV parks go).
Once inside the grounds, you’ll be driving on very well-maintained roads that will take you counter-clockwise around the entire park. Whether facing exterior or interior, the grounds offer each RV’er decent space to both park and set up an outdoor adjacent living room.
Like everything else in Georgia, there’s Spanish Moss growing everywhere, so charm abounds, along with the wonderful orchestra of crickets, chirping tree frogs and buzzing cicadas you’ll hear each night while staying here. From an amenities standpoint, there’s a recreational office in the middle of the camp, decent hook ups (water, electrical, toiletry, etc.), decent slab concrete to park on, solid picnic tables and while there’s no pool, there is a small lagoon (just be weary of the gators that likely are waiting for you as their next snack!).
There’s even a small office/ shop on site that sells ice and a few other sundries, while there’s a rip-roaring bar located just next door, so you won’t have to travel far to swing back some suds and sing karaoke till dawn.
Insider's Tip? If you are looking for a PHENOMENAL nature experience, complete with water access, then just head up the street to nearby Crooked River State Park, which is nothing short of the best State Park I have ever been to (and, um, I've been to a few) - read my review for more on this SP.
Happy Camping!
We stopped here for two nights on our trip to Florida. The host was friendly and helpful. They set us up in the perfect spot-all their spots were very nice with concrete pads and ample space.
Very friendly folks and willing to help out if you need anything. We were there during Covid so I didn’t use the restrooms or laundry. Brother in law said restroom was clean at park. Nice little fishing lake with a fountain. Concrete pull through parking pads. Level. Grassy areas kept neatly. Lovely Live Oaks for shade. We did a day trip to Cumberland Island and road Ferry over. Dock only about 15 minutes away. Everyone wearing masks on ferry with limitations on how many could ride.
Quiet ,clean, pretty neat park.older But kept well Very nice staff
