Great location

Can’t really be closer to the park than this. Campground itself is nice. Good showers. RV spaces are a bit tight and there’s very little enforcement of assigned spots. WiFi only available next to the store and very little cell reception. As the name implies, lots of families.

Sandy campground

Nice camp ground. Most of the space were pull through for Rv/campers. They were pretty narrow spaces. Lots of trees and shade. The entire campground was dirt and some gravel. The bathrooms were ok. Not kept the cleanest, but not the worst I’ve seen.

Super close to the river for easy access. Be prepared it almost rains every day in Florida, so if tent camping be prepared for rain.

Really nice and quiet campground

I love that we’re surrounded by trees and it’s not super crowded. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is a cute game room and basketball court and some animals!

Beautiful spring

Spring is really beautiful, and tubing all the way down was fun, campground is far from the Spring you would have to drive there its not convenient to walk there.

Great fun for the family.

Best campsite I've been to so far! With the state park close by, you can go tubing, kayaking or just for a swim. The office has pool tables and games for kids to enjoy. The staff are incredibly friendly. There's also a lot of friendly animals that live on the property, such as goats, a donkey, chickens, dogs and cats. It's a wonderful family friendly experience for all. Bring your friendly pets too! Very pet friendly.

Good sites - bath house poor

The sites are good and great location but the bath house is in need of upgrades and are not cleaned (someone goes in and picks up trash and sort of wipes down the sink counters) washing machine does not work

Great for families!

Small, quiet campground. Family owned & family friendly. Clean bathrooms, well stocked general store, and they deliver firewood right to your campsite! It was just a few minutes walk to Ichetucknee Springs.

Sweet and simple spot to park.

So the layout is basically one small dirt road loop with rv parking/primitive camping around the center as well as cabins around the outside. It was quiet when we were there but if the spots around us were rented, it’s very close quarters with no natural barriers. The staff was SO friendly and the general store at the front had everything this rookie forgot. 😂 You can rent tubes there but you will need transportation to the springs and river run, which were both AMAZING. We just drove the RV to each. We would totally return to this park simply because of the proximity to the springs.

Nice Off beat place to play OR Stay

The place is a nice hole in the wall on the side of the road, just past the north entrance of the Springs. They offer canoes, kayaks, rafts and tubes for rent and shuttle you to and from to take all of the work out of it. We paid a reasonable $85 for six of us in two canoes. The service was great, with two different people taking us and picking us back up. The shuttle was an old school van, similar to the Home Alone airport shuttle.

The canoes were good, but one did take in a little bit of water. Not enough to cause concern.

The sites are pretty primitive without hookups and they do offer some with electric/water closer to the front. The small cabins are basic, but do offer heat or AC, so are a step up from real camping. The only concern I would have would be toilet use if the park was busy. I would personally plan a visit back during the off season.
