Quaint peaceful property
Nice sites, right on the Big Thompson. Sites are very close to each other, but plenty of room for privacy

I enjoyed this campground because it is quiet and you can have the rushing river behind you. I have stayed here twice. It is close enough to the city of Loveland where you can access stores. I was able to get my laundry done at a good price and the sites are decent in size. Some sites are smaller where your neighbor feels close to you but other sites are wider.
Staff were super friendly. The place did everything we needed for an overnight stay the drive in from RMNP was fantastic. Showers were clean(dated who cares, they worked. I’m not an instagrammer)
My wife and I spent a week here. We enjoyed seeing the kids playing in the playground and riding around the park on their bikes. Nearly every day a deer would come munch on the greenery right behind our rig. The staff were super friendly and I believe we received good value for our payment considering the prices and sold-out state of other nearby parks like Horsetooth Reservoir. The campground is right on the banks of the Big Thompson river which does provide a soothing background for those fortunate enough to have sites on its banks. The roads and campsites are dirt, and a little messy after a rain storm. I think more attention could be paid to mowing the weeds of campsites between users. The laundry facilities were underwhelming as well; there wer two broken washing machines while I was there, and I spoke to a permanent resident who stated that they don't do their laundry in the park because of the poor availability of the machines. The facilities were clean. It can be suddenly and very windy here, so most campers did not use awnings. The campground is about 35 minutes from Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Forest, two excellent destinations for anyone coming for a vacation.
This was a great location to explore RMNP! A little tight on the spots but the sound of the river was so soothing.
Awesome RV park. We’ll spaced sites. Wide turning areas. We stayed in a pull through, but the back in spots had wide open areas for easy maneuvering. Right next to the river. Close to some easy MTB trails. Would definitely stay here again.
Easy check in. Nice spot right on the river. Little frogs and not so little toads living in the water dispenser areas. Super cute. They’ve got covers you can use to keep the wildlife out of the water areas. Water went out for half the day while we were here in the campsites but one of the bathhouses was still online so we used those showers and they were nice and clean and spacious. Kids played at the park on-site for a bit but loved the river and frogs even more
Campground is situated along the Big Thompson River. Big cottonwood trees. Easy accessibility for big rigs. Some items … water valves leak in lakes around entire park and many are leaking. No dog runs for pups, lots of places to walk though. There are long term “campers” at this park. Bathrooms were clean but dated.
This is a Good Sam Campground.
Perfect location. Lots to do.
Site was a tight squeeze! Didn’t have time to use facilities. 🤷🏻♀️
The river was awesome. Alot of friendly people around. Office and Maintenance staff were helpful and respectful. Close to stores and sightseeing.
we stayed 2 nights it is a nice rv park close to estes park and loveland nice towns and a lot to do
The ladys at the desk were absolutely incredible and helped me so much when I was having vehicle issues. That alone was worth 5 stars, but considering the layout of the park itself, a little chicken coop, and the rushing creek/trails were absolutely amazing! They even had some bands/food come out and play in the park which was really cool👍🏻
Good Sam’s RV park with full amenities. We booked a water/electric online, but got bumped up to full hookups. Beautiful river going beside many of the sites. Newer bathrooms. Huge park with playground for kids. Our site was very wide and open, but we might just have been lucky. Most are tree covered sites and not packed in. Dog park. About 45 minute beautiful drive to Rocky Mountain National Park entrance.
Had my packet ready when I arrived to make for a easy check in. The bathrooms are clean, but internet is spotty.
This campground offers lots of activities but the landscape is horrible. There is a river next to the park which offer swimming and other activities which is nice. Overall I would give this campground a 3 to 4. A four because the people in the park are very nice.
Its in a beautiful spot, tree covered, and a river runs through it. About 10 mins outside of Loveland and 40 mins from Estes park. Downside: free WiFi is worse than dialup, and was told it wasn’t worth paying for the premium cuz it wasn’t much better.
We had a great time at this campground. We spent 4 days in a spot right next to the river. Close to Rocky Mountain National Park. Really enjoyed the river, dog park, live music on sat. night and laundry.
Really nice park.
The campground is located along a river with walking paths. There are some shade trees but some of the sites are very sunny without any shade. Sites are very close together and a bit noisy. We did not have any shade at any time of the day making our site very hot. There are lots of amenities and music on the weekends during the summer. The location is not too far from Estes Park & Rocky Mountain National Park.
