Attention to detail here! Great owners.
They say this is the world’s highest KoA. It’s in the side of a mountain, css as moving loops stretch up the hill, bathroom and shower are at the bottom of the hill! But they do have pizza and will deliver to your site. It was pretty dusty when we were there. Sites are not jammed together, and the hillside does allow for views over other campsites. Hummingbirds buzzed around all day. Close to Cripple Creek and Pikes Peak
Everything from friendly faces to taking care of the missing needs of the outdoors. My in-laws and kids absolutly love this place. Not to mention perfect for our disabled daughter.
We stayed in a tent utilities site for two days. Shortly after setup we order pizza from their on-site hunts brothers and it was delicious. After eating we noticed that the electric wasn't working luckily for us no one else was by us we plugged in next to us and let the staff know, they had it fixed by morning. If you ever need something you call instead of going to the main office and they come to you (pizza, firewood). Overall a great stay.
We stay 3 nights here what a beautiful place in the mountains. Very clean well maintained and clean. Nice little store and clean bath house.
Nice and cozy
Of our whole trip, this is the nicest campground we stayed at. The staff was so welcoming and nice. Our campsite was secluded and nestled in the aspen woods with a great view. The showers were excellent, and the overall experience was lovely. We didn’t stay for the all you can eat pancake breakfast, but we heard good things about it.
The setting of the primitive sites in the aspens was amazing! Clean bathrooms and laundry room as well. Very inviting and welcoming staff. ATT had a little signal, but I was also able to connect to WiFi at my site.
Maiden voyage with new toy hauler: many full service & large lots, LOTS of family activities (Royal Gorge, Dinosaur Museum, White Water Rafting, UTV Tours, Zip Lines, mini golf, pool, WiFi & large slide on site) & nearby Texas Creek trails for ATV’s. Quiet. Friendly! Helpful. Most are pull through lots. Great place to start for us!
The air is thin up here- real thin. That also means that it’s pure, clean blissfully light oxygen so breathe deep and enjoy it.
The spots are a bit closer than I would like but the campground is very well kept and the beautiful mountain scenery makes you forget you have neighbors!
Great hiking nearby and the towns of Cripple Creek and Victor are full of old mining history!
Beautiful place to bring the family as They have activities for all ages we stayed in a couples cabin which was beautifully done log furniture comfortable bed Fire pit in front of Cabin. There is showers laundry and store. Casions just 5 min away
One of the nicest camp spots I’ve been to. Very accommodating and clean! Only downfall is that it was a bit of a drive to many main attractions in Colorado, but it was worth the drive.
Great atmosphere, amazing views.... amenities, pancake breakfasts..... just enough space between you and the next campers.... we will be back.
Very beautiful campground! Great staff, clean restrooms. Beautiful views. Tent sites are awesome!
Convenient location to Cripple Creek CO. Mountain views. Situated on meadow hillside. Hiking trails, full hookups, fire rings with grills, picnic tables. Level sites with many pull thrus. Helpful owners. Sparkling bathrooms. Individual showers. Laundry rooms. Hummingbirds everywhere.
This little gem hidden away in the mountains was a perfect spot for our Mother/Son roadtrip. We originally got a delux tent spot with water and electric but when a storm came through and blew our tent down and since we had been roughing it for the past few days it really made for some bad times but we were able to upgrade into a cabin and it made our night so much better. The family who runs the KOA were so welcoming and kind. They gave us information on a good fishing spot where my 7 yr old son caught his first trout and he fed his tribe. Lol everything was so clean. There are washers and dryers available. They had a nice gift shop and provided a s’mores night for the campers for free. They have pancake breakfast for $3 on Saturday and Sunday ( not always). Overall it was an amazing place to camp everything was reasonably priced and lots of activities for the kids. Board games were able to be checked out, there was a game room where the kids spent most of their time. There is a dog park area. Hummingbirds enjoyed the area as well
They had an outdoor kitchen with cast iron skillets for the campers to use as well as a stove and two big charcoal grills up at the main building
Very nice KOA
also it’s the WORLDS HIGHEST KOA @ 10,000 ft
