Great place
We spent a night at Koa and had a great experience. Our tent spot was quiet and had a beautiful view in the morning. The facilities were also excellent. Koa is located near the National Park entrance.

We stayed 5-27-24 through 6-1-24. This is NO KOA Holiday or any KOA type. This place gives KOA a bad name. Office open from 10-3?!?! No visible employees on site, with notices of theft?!?! Which is probably the reason my verified delivered package was not received. Restrooms were not cleaned for 3 straight days and I have dated photograph proof (see below). 2nd bathhouse closed. Permanent Residence in prominent site was a junk heap. Sites with grass/weeds growing higher than firepit rings (pics of also). We are full time campers and stay at numerous KOA’s and others and this place is definitely a place to avoid.
We absolutely love this KOA more than any other KOA and we're going back for a month
Absolutely stunning. Not a parking lot. Redwood trees everywhere wonderful Forest to explore
Very nice park. Clean grounds and restrooms. There are some really nice pull thru sites and cabins. Our pull thru was a bit tight due to booking late, but it worked. Nice people in the office, very helpful about local attractions. The playground was nice for our grandson to play at. Visiting the giant redwoods was great. Stopped at Trees of Mystery, a nice place to visit.
Clean campground, our spot was near the play area, dog park and office. They have some area tucked into the redwoods. They have some farm animals! We really appreciated that they let us check in a little early!
Our stay at this KOA was last minute. We had planned on driving further south but wildfire smoke prevented us from continuing. The cabin we stayed in was nestled right in the redwoods! Showers and bathrooms were clean. Very nice camp hosts!
I deducted a star because we were told that due to the wildfires, we couldn’t have a campfire. We went to town for dinner since we had no other way to cook our hot dogs. When we got back to the campground, multiple sites had campfires going. Very confusing. Otherwise our stay was great!
Great place to stay, many options in the red woods. We had the chance to change our site. Some spots have strange set ups. Very clean overall very good.
Would love better WIFI couldn’t download movies or connect the TV. But hey your camping with the world’s largest trees.
This was a beautiful place in the redwoods. The only down side we saw was some of the sites where narrow for a bigger trailer with slides.
We stopped here in early September 2019 just looking for a couple nights stay before our last stop on a 18day road trip across the US and got their last spot. The staff was incredibly nice and helped us find a few good trails to hike. We had a beautiful huge, huge, huge stump in our tent site. Everyone was neighborly. The couple next to us were dancing to music one night after dinner, it was so sweet. Easy drive to the beach and the forest. We did not put our rain fly on and woke up looking through the trees.
A great place for tent camping surrounded by huge redwood trees providing privacy and quiet. New fire pits at many sites. Typical KOA restrooms and amenities.
It was our first KOA experience. We were at 101 spot with wire /electric. It was amazing. Very private, with shade, and easy to back into. The campsite is clean with great facilities and friendly staff. Would definitely come here again!!!
Conveniently close to the iconic redwoods on the California/Oregon coast. The campsite itself has good amenities but not necessarily the most natural setting.
Awesome!!
This little KOA is beautiful all around little trails to walk and see the beautiful big trees, lottle allows to wonder, banana slugs and birds. When I 1st arrived I was taken back it’s rewlly one my favorite places to camp.
Tent sites were in the back and offered a lot of privacy among plants and trees! Clean bathrooms.
Showed up with no reservation - tent sites were available - great place!! BUT, because my tent sets up in my pick-up bed on a special foam pad and not on the ground (I am unable to sleep on the ground due to knee, hip, and back issues) my 15 year old daughter and I were turned away (at 8:30 p.m. after having driven over 8 hours). ☹️ Security guy said it was “policy.” “Insurance reasons.” KOA’s notification says, “No car or van camping/sleeping.” I’m sorry, but a tent that is made purposely for setting up in a pickup bed so that you don’t have to crawl on your hands and knees to enter and exit is NOT ‘car or van sleeping.’ You are still CAMPING IN A TENT. We finally found a different campground willing to let us in... at 11:30p.m.
