No wifi.

I stayed here for a few weeks and although there was a train that went by several times a day it was very quiet. But, the campground sure needed a lot of work. So many of the buildings were in horrible shape. They all needed repairs and repainted. The laundry was good with easy payment options. If you're passing through it's a nice stop. You're very close to the world famous Vasquez rocks. Big downsize is not having any wifi there.

SiteI stayed at a few different sites.

Don’t waste your time and money

This place totally ruined the KOA reputation. We booked for two nights at this location and then the weather forecast indicated a strong wind coming on the days we are visiting. When we arrived, it became a sand storm. Honestly, it is, because this place barely has trees and there was no pavements for kids to ride bikes and trash everywhere. The only playground they have was like broken a long time ago. The only staff, as the owner, does not wear masks and clearly told us this place has no Wi-Fi even the website said it had. You cannot get refund for this issue or you dispute with your credit card company. It looked like they didn’t care at all. The train woke you up every two hour even at midnight. The sewer smells and so does the bathroom and laundry room. The interesting part is that this is the only KOA place has not reviews open on KOA website. It is like a scam!

Nice Campground, But...

This is a nice campground in a pretty scenic bit of the mountains. Sites are big and easy to access. BUT, there's about 4 trains a night that will come by with horns blowing. Also, there's no functional WiFi or Cell service, or CATV. So make sure you have some books, cards, movies, whatever.

Nice spot if you don't mind unplugging.

Extremely disappointed

I would not want the KOA name attached to the Acton LA campground. It looks like the current owners bought a campground on the way down for cheap and gave up on it completely.

It's a mess, not maintained, trash in spots, a garbage dump called secured area, no wifi, the owner who does not wear a mask in the office when helping clients. Etc.

First adventure out with motorhome

This was our first trip with our new motorhome and first camping trip ever.  The staff was really friendly and accommodating.   The grounds are nice and very large.  Sites are easy to navigate and pull into, especially for a first timer.

The RV sites are pretty close together but the full hookups makes it really nice.  Will stay here again and they are very pet friendly which was nice.

Nice and LA Close

This was our first ever campground in a new rv. Place was nice and had a pool, volleyball, etc for kids. Nice area in winter spring or fall. A few long termer spits in the back so just be aware if you’re on vacation, not all there are, some live there.

Not a relaxing stay

I stayed at the KOA during my PCT thru hike, entirely with the intention of having a nice relaxing place to stay.

the KOA itself is nice. There's a pool, a clean bathroom and shower and a nice laundry room. The tent set up is affordable, $35 if you have a vehicle and $15 if you're a hiker. There's a big grass field where you can set up your tent right next to water and all of the amenities, and the KOA has free wifi which is always a plus.

The catch is, the KOA is stationed between a busy road and a railroad... so all. Isn't you end up hearing the train blasting it's horn and come morning, you're woken up by the constant influx of cars.

If you're an RVer, than you can probably avoid the noise. However, as a tent camper, it wasn't the most relaxing place to stay.
