Decent and convenient.

The sites are very close together. The park host played guitar till about 1am by himself. Dogs barked all night, at dawn boats are launching.. so if you're looking for a peaceful, quiet place.. this ain't it. That said, it's not a bad park. There's a short hiking trail and a quaint general store at the entrance. As a stop over, it's fine, I wouldn't recommend it as a camping experience.

One of the best

We used this as our base while visiting Hot Springs. It took us about 30 minutes to get there, with the last few miles being down a somewhat curvy, yet easily navigable and very pretty road in the mountain. Be aware of the weather, as if it’s raining hard, parts of this road are subject to being the pathway for the water to cross as it flows down the mountainside. We had that experience, and it was a little tricky but quite exciting. Although the first campsites certainly looked quite close to each other, as you get further back into the campground the sites seemed to have more room. It was a mile drive from the entrance to our campsite # 62, but a lot shorter to exit. We loved our location, overlooking a part of the lake where it looked like a little cove. The site was slightly sloping but easy to level our 24’ Itasca Navion. The restrooms were clean and tidy but no soap supplied. The showers had good pressure. There was also a couple of sinks available with hot water to do dishes. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back. I think this was one of my favorite.

Beautiful place, basic amenities

The campground is lovely. Be aware though that there’s Is only electric at the sites. Fresh water is available right inside the entrance. This campground is unstaffed. You fill out a card with your reservation into. An employee will find it and give you an official pass later on. There’s not much to do here if you’re not into fishing or getting on the water. The trails are minimal. The boat ramp has good parking and easy entry. My site has a good view of the water, but the marina is right there. People also tend to walk through the site to get to the water to view.

What every campground should be

Gorgeous camp ground. Quiet. Peaceful. Great views of the lake. A perfect spot to unwind.

Campground hosts were respectful and unintrusive.

I highly recommend the back portion of the campground.

Beautiful.. yet busy!

We arrived late at night and set up the yurt tent in the dark! The campground was alive with people laughing and having a good time. We woke up to clean, warm showers and beautiful scenery of the lake all around us. My advice would be to go very slowly on the road out there! Sometimes there was limited visibility and the roads are really windy. We saw someone get help flighted out on our stay. Be safe and have a great time here!

Beautiful

Brady Mountain was so full of natural beauty along with a very well kept camp areas, clean showers and bathrooms. Almost everyday I was there I watched deer play and even had three in my camp! I was in #66 so it was a little busy with traffic (right on the main entrance and exit).

Relaxing, but crowded

Our campsite was very large, on a peninsula shared with one other site. It was very close to the playground and restrooms. There was a large septic system that was incredibly loud. It would kick on and off every few minutes, constantly.

Beauty beyond compare

Beautiful campsite right on Lake Ouachita. Site 61 is right on the water. PROs: lake views, spacious camp, cell service. CONs: loud noisy generator nearby

Great place when not too busy

This campground is very big & offer MANY campsites. My personal favorite was #53. Great 180 view of the lake and nice trees to hang a hammock on. Picnic tables, electric & fire ring all at sites. Hot showers are available! The camp staff was VERY polite upon our arrival. The only con was that the sites are very close to each other so if the campground was full it wouldn’t be as private & nice. Overall enjoyed my stay!

We love this place

My family and I love this little home away from home, once you find it you are great.

Shady areas, sandy beaches make you feel like your in paradise 💕💕

Only con I can think of is it is extremely busy, every time we go they are always so booked out and always a ton of people but other then that it’s great

Once you’re there it’s great.

The COE Brady Mountain Campground was beautiful, but plan on arriving during daylight hours or you might think you have lost the way. After recent rains the lake level was high and several low water crossings on the road into park looked intimidating at night. Daylight revealed that we were in a newly opened spot with gravel pad, fire ring, picnic table, lantern hanger and electric hook up. Water was available nearby as was a serviceable shower house. The new sites are near the boat ramp and swim beach. There are older sites on several other loops with similar service. Tent sights on top of the hill offer fantastic views of Lake Ouachita.
