Beautiful veiw
The veiw was gorgeous, the areas are first come first serve. And it was incredibly easy to find. The coordinates here are incorrect but if you keep driving northwest of them on the road you'll find it right off the 17.

Great views, west side closer to Sedona is a lot more rocky while east half is pretty easy. The location here is wrong and that's probably why there are bad reviews.... You can access off i17 by taking exit 320 and then driving down the forest road toward Sedona. Camping is only allowed in about first half (4-5ish miles). Or you can access schnebly hill Rd from sedona and drive up. There was some very rocky and sketchy parts in the Sedona side but I made it fine with a stock 2012 4Runner and AT tires. This road also closes during winter depending on weather and snow conditions.
Always a fun time in/around Sedona. Schnebly Hill is full of great views. People drive quite fast on the eastern portion so keep aware of that.
No longer accessible
Like another review said, this is a residential area now. We drove around and found no access points.
In a super residential area. Not sure how people accessed it previously. No longer accessible.
This trail and campsite leads to some amazing views into Sedona and you cannot pass it up! It's about a 2hr drive from Phoenix into the pines and cool weather 💯
This is a dispersed camping area so no facilities. It's pretty rocky so 4x4 is highly encouraged. It's really quiet except the occasional hunting activity. You can find plenty of spots right off the road or walk in a little farther. You'll be able to pull your truck in no problem and some spaces are large and flat enough for RVs and campers. Sedona should be on your list of must-sees if you're a visitor to Arizona. Take a jeep or helicopter tour! Visit Slide Rock when it's warm enough out to swim. Airport lookout and the vortex offer great photo ops at sunset.
