Had a great time camping this weekend at Greensport campground .This was our first time camping my wife and I and our 9 year old grand daughter. The staff were very helpful, lots of planned activities for the kids. Scenery was great , lots of amenities. Will definitely be be back soon.

Hi Josh! We appreciate you staying with us! Could you tell us what we could have done differently to elevate your experience to 5*?
We did have some issues but I was able to verify with the grounds electrician that the low voltage issue was due to Alabama electric and not the camp ground. Hopefully that will be resolved soon, but we did have a low voltage issue on line one of our 50amp service. Also, if you are out after 9pm the gate will be closed. Make sure you check your email or text messages as the gate is opened with a QR code that is sent to you. This is not explained very well in the welcoming documents or on the camp grounds App. Other those two small issues, great place to stay. Small store at marina with a lot of stuff for camping and boating, pool on site, covered picnic tables at lake with lake access for a fee on weekends...free during week for campers.

A bit too close together for my liking but the facilities and staff are top notch. If you bring loved ones or like to socialize, this is a good place to be.

Very convenient to Rainbow City and Gadsden. Nice marina and store. Lake Neely is beautiful! Nice management and fellow campers. Beautiful hills and countryside.

Had a blast with the kiddos this weekend. Had plenty of things to keep the kids entertained and loved that I could take my kayak out into the water easily. Spaces are a little tight so if you have a bigger rig be sure to get a pull through and you’ll be fine. This is definitely a must see place ! Will be back.

We are still me to RV camping so not many places to compare it to, but in all this is a great spot to camp. The main area is very open a a bit tight so getting a spot in the upper part of the campground is a must if you want a little space. The upper portion has trees, but it’s not super level so be aware. The bath house and pool area are nice. There are canoe and kayaks available to rent as well. If you are looking for a nice place to stay by the lake, this is it. The staff are really great as well!

Located in Ashville, Al, Greensport is a jewel of a place to get away and enjoy the beauty of Alabama. It sits on Lake Neely Henry and spreads across many acres. They are building/working on new sites to expand their capacity and they are doing it right. If you are in North Alabama this should be on your list of places to visit!

I absolutely loved my stay here and am already planning for a longer visit! Be ready to feel like you’re at home, with the calm serenity of the star filled skies, the soft reflections in the water, with the beautiful mountain views.
Whether it is the full timers or those passing through, everyone was so very friendly.
I would recommend this for all, because your kids won’t remember that time you stayed in the ol’ generic hotel.

I was fortunate to camp here for several weeks and i only have good things to say! Such friendly people, a tranquil beautiful place next to the lake, its got a awesome boat ramp, jetties, recreation area, very neat bathrooms and facilities! It was a real pleasure to be staying there and will definitely return!

Been parked at Greensporte for 9 months. Great place to stay. Playground for the kids, dog park, swimming pool, boating and fishing. Great staff and guests. Clean laundry and restrooms

We have been here at Greensporte RV for 63 days and having a great time. The wife and I have been enjoying the pool and talking to the other guests. I’ve been boating and fishing. There’s plenty to do. Don’t forget crappie fishing is just around the corner.
