The countryside setting of the Boston/Cape Cod KOA, 15 miles west of Plymouth, Massachusetts, makes a great base camp as you explore one of the oldest cities in the United States.

Our Boston/Cape Cod area campground boasts wooded campsites and plenty of on-site recreation opportunities; including a Jumping Pillow, theme weekends, and a pocket park filled with all the fun and games to bring your group out to play. Enjoy the picturesque setting in a Camping Cabin or a furnished Deluxe Cabin.

Spacious site 309

Very clean variety accommodations thru out campground . Site 309 Pull thru with fire-pit , cement pad gas grill , chairs and table ,level site with grass for dog not all sandy Lots shade trees

Large Campground with Multiple Site Options and Severial Activities For Youth and Young Familes.

This is a nice campground with multiple site type options. Staff and Management are available to help. This is a busy campground due to its location . Easy access to Boston, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Plymouth, Newport, and many more attractions. I recommend having reservations if you want to stay at this campground, between Memorial Day and Labor Day. We were being told that they are making several changes to the campground during the 2022/2023 winter down time season. We will have to wait and see what the changes will bring.

Lots to do

Well organized, clean campground with a ton of activities to do. Site with patio was great. Had a gas grill, table and chairs, a glider and fire pit.

Not a great experience.

We camped here while visiting Boston. The campground isn’t bad and facilities are clean. To be fair their are some nice sites here. Our site however was pretty awful. It was purely loose dirt with no grass or gravel. The sites in our section are packed right on top of each other. So tight that you can’t extend your awning and the neighbors sewer hose is right on top of the picnic table.

I have belong to KOA‘s for quite a few years and I have learned that you really need to upgrade to the better campsites to enjoy your stay. With that being said I did not take my own advice and I booked a basic 30 amp fullhook up campsite and it was so tight that unfortunately I did not enjoy it as much as I wanted to. I love camping, and the KOA staff and everyone there was very nice but I’ll never book The basic campsite again I’ll pay the few extra dollars to have a bigger site it’s so worth it.

Wouldn’t stay here again

We have stayed at several campgrounds and this one just packs them in way too tight. There are tons of adults and children all over the place, dogs off leashes, many extra vehicles, children late in the night shining flashlights all over the place. Just entirely too crowded to enjoy camping. We stayed here two nights and I wanted to pack up and leave after the first night. I will say the staff was very helpful with information about the area.

Trying to be a resort. Mile wide, inch deep.

This is a fine campground, but nothing stands out as well done. They simply have too much going on and nothing is done extremely well. Pool is good, but needs to be refreshed. Mini golf is free, but is a joke of a course. Sites are big enough, but main camping are is packed in for maximum profit at the expense of elbow room.

The Highlands are recommended for anyone with a camper over 30’. The area was super quiet (silent after 9pm during our visit) but the rest of the campground gets rowdy since it is so packed in.

Long story short, this place is great if you want a quick stay. Would not stay here for a week.

Not our favorite KOA

The sites are pretty close and some are not level. It seems that many sites have more than one vehicle at them, making it more congested. The Highlands area is much quieter. Decent dog park & common play areas (horseshoes, ladder ball, cornhole, basketball). Lots for kids to do. We went to Plimoth Plantation about 20 min away but not much else in the area. Management & employees are friendly & helpful.

Great Location & Family Friendly

We selected this campground because of its proximity to family who we would be visiting. It was very convenient to Providence, Cape Cod, and Duxbury. The campground had a nice canopy of trees and a combination of paved/gravel/packed dirt roads. Speed limit of 7.5 mph was strictly enforced. I loved this because the roads were great for running (and hybrid biking) without worry of cars. The staff was very helpful. We called about a problem with the cable about 20 min before the office closed at 9 and staff came to our campsite after hours to fix it- turns out we had used the wrong plug. The wifi/Verizon throughout the campground was excellent. Our grandkids joined us one day and enjoyed the kids activities (3-4/day), the pool and jumping pad.

Despite the nice canopy, there are no "privacy" trees or shrubs between campsites and the campsites are narrow. In fact we could easily see our neighbor's black tank hose all the time. This was probably the biggest negative. The bathhouse was big however, one day there was no hot water. Interestingly, at the campsites, the water pressure is very very high so make sure you have a water regulator.. Overall we feel that for the price and location this campground met our needs.

Family oriented campground

If you have kids, good place to camp. Nice tall pine trees, clean camp, friendly staff. Sites are very close together and there was a constant stream of you doing adults driving around the campground in golf carts...got to be annoying. Cell service was good.

Decent campground

The staff are very friendly and the campground is clean. The just remodeled one of two playgrounds in the camp. There is a lot to do for kids including a pool, jumping pillow, miniature golf and a train ride. There a lot of popular events such as an ice cream social and tie dying. Most weekends have themes. The only issue I have are some of the campers. They were filthy and rude. After the Friday night movie they left all their trash on the ground. The kids were riding their bikes on the bathroom handicap ramp. The kids were screaming at the pool and all over. One got hurt at the pool and an adult with the group told them no more horsing around even though he was the one who started it. It’s right off a major highway so you have noise including sirens. There are many places to visit around the area if you enjoy “doing the tourist thing”. Some tent sites are on the smaller side but most are good size. I’ll be honest, I only go to KOA for my son but I find this is one of the better ones. We were in T9 and T8 but we have also camped in T17 ( my favorite).

Biggest KOA we have ever stayed at!

We wanted to explore the Cape and are members of the KOA rewards program so we chose here to stay. The staff were very nice and helpful. They had a big store and plenty of supplies and souvenirs, from sweatshirts to stickers. We then followed the map to get to our site. As we pulled around the office we saw all kinds of activities for kids. Bouncy "pillow", pool, bounce pad, sluice, miniature golf, and a playground. All the sites we saw had trees for shade. It was a very busy place but everyone seemed happy to be there. As the weekend went on we drove thru the whole campground just to check out the rest. They had many cabins, 2 dumps sites for campers, another huge playground. If I'm ever back in the area I will stay here again!

Fun for Kids

We stayed here over the 4th of July this summer. Overall we had a nice time and our 3 kids really enjoyed it.

The pool was green the first day we were there, but the filters were quickly fixed and it was back to normal. It was not a great first impression for us. There were unaccompanied children in the pool who were extremely rude, swearing, jumping on people. I actually got my kids out of the pool and left. The pool is very small and when it is crowded it is more for wading than swimming.

Quiet hours were not enforced and people with very loud music were walking up and down the road past sites well past quiet hours.

There were long lines for showers every night and the showers were very outdated and not clean at all.

The activities for kids is the draw for this campground for sure. My kids loved the train rides, movie night, flash light candy hunt, and arts and crafts.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

Overall we made the best of it all and left with good family memories.

Love Love Love

Stayed here for few weeks while waiting for my house to be ready, it was great the staff was great, friendly, the other campers were respectful, my son had respitory problems at the time, and they were very helpful, even introducing my family to another family, who the wife happened to be a respitory specialist, which as a young mom found comfort. I had explained sometimes my sons oxygen could drop and I may have to call for emergency services. They were very understanding and offered me any help or services I needed. Outside of all that its conveniently located off 495/44 Amenadities were great with a pool, a play area for the kids, they offer cabins for those who dont want to put up a tent. They have water electric sewage hook ups and overall. It was a great experience and the staff made it great. I woulf definitely recommend this 100x over.
