    Lamoine, Maine

Welcome to Lamoine State Park Campground, nestled near the charming town of Lamoine, Maine. This spot is a favorite for many, offering a peaceful retreat with stunning views of Frenchman Bay. If you're looking for a place to unwind and enjoy nature, you've come to the right place.

The campground operates from May 15 to October 15, giving you a solid chunk of the year to plan your visit. One of the standout features here is the cleanliness and upkeep. Visitors often rave about how well-maintained the facilities are, including the showers and restrooms. It's a refreshing change from some other parks in the area.

For those who love a good view, try snagging one of the two non-reservable sites right on the Bay. They're prime spots for watching boats unload at the public dock in the evening. And if you're into grilling, don't forget to bring your charcoal for the Bayfront grills.

The campground offers a mix of accommodations, from tent and RV sites to cabins and yurts. RVs are typically situated higher up on the hill, while tent sites are closer to the water. Some sites are grassy, so if you prefer gravel, make sure to ask when you check in.

Pets are welcome, and there's plenty of space for them to roam. The campground also has a beach area that's perfect for a quick dip or a leisurely stroll. It's a short drive to Acadia National Park, making it a convenient base for exploring the area without dealing with the crowds.

Whether you're here for the serene beach, the friendly fellow campers, or the proximity to Acadia, Lamoine State Park Campground offers a little something for everyone. Enjoy your stay!
