Reasonably priced RV park near Arches
Clean, reasonably priced. Roomy, pretty level, gravel sites. Quiet except for the occasional train at night. Easy access off I-70. Amenities are in great shape. Friendly staff. We would definitely stay again.
Great place to stay
We stayed here five nights in our class C while slowly making our way across the country. The park is reasonably large. We had no problems getting a spot here. Sites are gravel, level and very well maintained. All are pull through. Hookups are in excellent condition. Sites had plenty of room, many had tables and some had fire pits. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
There are not many ammenities in the park. The office can provide great information on the nearby national parks and other attractions. Showers and laundry are available for a fee, though we did not use them. Propane was available. The nearby gas station easily accommodates RV's.
Arches and Canyonlands National Parks are 35 minutes away. There are petroglyphs and dinosaur tracks nearby. Our grandchild loved the Moab Giants dinosaur exhibit. There is also easy access to hundreds of miles of off-road trails and hiking trails.
The RV park is conveniently located near the highway, but not too close. There is very little highway noise. The park was quiet and peaceful for the most part. There is a nearby rail line and you may wake to a train once or twice a night.
We had 4 bar LTE with Verizon. I was able to use my hotspot, and my wife played her Xbox game. The Wi-Fi available at the park was fine, though the game could not be played using it.
This was a very nice place to stay while traveling. It is an excellent place to stay to visit the area attractions while avoiding the high cost of RV parks closer to Moab. We will stay again when traveling this way.
Arrived after hours
Had a board to tell you what spots were available. Nice and quiet location almost nobody out. The only bad thing I notice is the trains are very loud at night. Great for one night stay
Best price in the area
This place was $35 a night and was the cheapest spot I could find in the Moab area. No shade but was present when we were there. The dog walking area is full of glass and bits of rusty metal (I don’t think it is the campgrounds fault but just fair warning). Beautiful spot.
Great stay
I used a pull-in 30 Amp RV site. The area is relatively level and pea gravel is used for the pads. The bathrooms are clean and are a toilet and shower combo. The site has a washer and dryer. There is a 7-11 gas station very nearby. This location is about 30 min from both Canyonlands and Arches National Parks and is about 40 min from the town of Moab. The sure is reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Great campground
I needed a place to get electricity for AC when Temps hit 100+ degrees consistently. Found this campground unexpectedly and couldn't have been happier! Super clean, friendly management. Very except the occasional train that rolls through.
