Cons
Just an open field. No shade. This is not even a vineyard!
Very tight check in parking
Lots and lots of tall speed bumps throughout park
Small tree between site prevent our awning deployment
Sites tightly packed together; Our sewer connection was inches from next site’s picnic table!
Most of the time during our stay in site 80, there was a horrific odor from the sewer lift station 100 ft away
Not dark sky friendly.
Street lights and utility pedestal lights.
Initially assigned site was changed without any notice so our request to be sited away from a street light not honored
Significant traffic noise from Hwy 87 (even at night) and we were half way down the park Unable to access all 24 cable TV channels; could only connect to 6 channels.

5 min to town!
Just ok.
Pros: level sites, clean, great pull through spots, the host could not have been kinder, and great spot as the hub for day trips in the hill country.
Cons: Not much charm, terrible internet service even with the paid upgrade, constant smell of sewage coming from the center area of the park, hot tub closed in November?, and the office staff was very terse.

Very nice park
Stayed there 3 nights during our visit to the Texas Hill Country. The park is 5 minutes from Fredericksburg. The pads are gravel with full hookups. Very clean laundry facility. There is a central area with dog park and place to walk. The reason for the 4 rating is that our site was at the top of the park with a downward slope which made it very difficult to level. Fredericksburg is a must see and so are the wineries. And great restaurants too. If in the area, we would definitely return to this park.
Clean, Friendly + Ammenities!
I’m not typically one for side-by-side style camping. However, this place is pretty nice and extremely well maintained.
Nice camp ground
Camp spot was nice. area was taken care of and clean. Both my dogs loved the "off the leash" dog park. Close to town and not to far from the Enchanted rock. Also another good site to see is the old tunnel. Stayed during Christmas so the town was decorated very nicely. Will definitely come back again.
Just to park the RV
We love the place, but just to sleep at night. During the dsy is a must visit all the vineyards, and great historic places in town. Sadly was raining and was a little difficult to park in the gravel site.
Great place to stay! Friendly atmosphere
We absolutely enjoyed staying here. Camp ground was well maintained and very clean. The views were very nice. We saw several deer in the evenings. Close enough to downtown. We went to Enchanted Rock, Grape Creek Vineyard, Luckenback TX, and visited Main Street.. We ended up adding an additional night to our stay and the staff was very accommodating. We stayed 4 nights and we will stay here again.

Not for us
The people are very nice, the campground is clean and well kept. Perfect for folks just looking for a place to park in between outings. My husband and I prefer more of a camping atmosphere where he can setup and cook outside. Sites are cramped and right on top of one another. No chilled evenings outside grilling with a nice glass of wine.... unless you like staring at your neighbors rv. Very close to downtown and all. We love Fredericksburg but this is a no return for us.
New owners are doing it right 🙌
We stayed 3 nights in April and loved it. The gravel spots are level, huge and meticulously raked daily by staff. They have a great dog run and we took advantage of the hot tub every night, which was very clean. Downtown is only 5 min away.
No Shade
Nice spacious camp area . Very clean with pool, hot tube and dog runs. We were there for 4 days and didn’t see anyone from the office. They didn’t keep very good ofc hours. Great for large rigs Lots of pull thru spaces. 5 minutes from downtown
