Why did we decide to build an animal adventure park? We were both divorced, single parents and struggled financially when we met in 2009. It was difficult raising a blended family of seven, especially when it came to finding activities that could be accommodated on a very limited budget. You can learn more about our personal journey on our website, but to keep it short here, we wanted to create a family friendly experience that remains affordable and provides educational opportunity for visitors of all ages. *We are a wife/husband team and there is a lot of work for two when we need 10 employees. So, there are storm damaged trees or limbs from logged trees (we operate our own sawmill) and burn holes here and there. As one of our younger recent guests remarked to his dad, this is a REAL farm the animals can come right up to you, and it smells like POOP!
