Good stop in emergency
We pulled in to the Wild West RV park because we needed repairs on our tow vehicle and it was Sunday. It is easy access off I-10. Pull through sites. 30/50 amp, water and sewer. Sites are level. There are 2 lots across from one another. There is no shade and lots of dust. They are located between I-10 and the railroad, so it is NOT quite. Bathrooms and showers were better than many. Good water pressure in shower. They do have a dog park of sorts.

Quiet park
Van Horn is a very small and quiet town. Several RV parks mostly a truck stop town
Small Park Near Hwy 10
Wild West RV Park in Van Horn, Texas is a small park close to Highway 10. It’s fine for an overnight or two, but probably not much longer. It is mostly dirt with a little gravel and very dusty. The sites are long enough for big rigs and they have 50 amp FHU which is great. There are not amenities to speak of except for laundry and restrooms. The main reason we wouldn’t stay here again is because of all of the spars (sharp spiny burs) all over the ground which has made this a difficult place for our dogs, not to mention painful.
