Beautiful Spot in the Fall
We stayed on night in a 21' Travato Van Camper. Nancy, the camp host, was very accommodating as we had no reservations. She helped us find a spot in this small (16 camp) loop. It was quiet overnight and everyone was friendly during the day. We felt very welcome. The camp grounds are super well kept. There is a bath house in the center of the loop (didn't use) and water spigots located throughout to fill your tanks. A dump station on the way out is clean and convenient. Large camp sites are located in such a way that you have privacy. Check in is at 3PM and check out is at 2PM. You can't beat it for $15/night (with senior discount).
Great Campground for Nature Lovers
This may be one of our new favorite campgrounds!!! We stayed in site 10 on the water. It was absolutely beautiful!!! So peaceful.
The campground hosts were phenomenal!!! They made sure all campers had everything they need. They also make sure people are following the rules!! While I was walking my dogs, a truck drove the wrong way in the loop to get to his spot. A camp host quickly reminded him to drive the right way.
There's plenty of fishing opportunity, so bring the fishing gear!
Pet friendly, but make sure you keep all pets on a leash!!
There are electric hookups, but not water. There are water spigots around the campground to fill up the water tanks! There is a spigot right across the road from site 10.
In site 10, the driveway is short. It only fit our 18' camper and our truck. But there ARE other sites that can accommodate much larger rigs. Just do a little homework prior to reserving a spot.
While we visited in mid July, the temperatures were fantastic! I was not too hot at all! The shade trees did a great job of blocking out heat.
I highly recommend this cg!!

lovely campground
This was a nice little campground. The camp host kept the bathroom nice and clean. There was only one shower but it was nice and warm. I had spot #4 which has access to the creek that runs along side the campground. Because of the weather I couldn't really get in but it was great white noise for sleeping. Would come back here again.
Great little campground
We had site 6 which was creekside. Beautiful! Small campground, one clean bathroom with free hot showers. Lots of tree cover which helped to keep the campsite cool and provided some shelter from rain. Close to the Ocoee River and Lake. Will be back!
Clean, quiet, convenient
The campsite was exactly what I was looking for -- easy to get to, quiet, and dark. It was definitely more geared towards RVs, but a few of us had tents. I used it as a waypoint on a longer trip, and it satisfied that need.
Great little campground!
Very clean, decent sized lots. Clean bathroom and shower. Nice little creek flows nearby, had a great experience!

Quaint & Quiet
The small loop is perfect for a family get away. Close Creek and hiking provided plenty of activity for little ones and not overly crowded like bigger campgrounds. Water hookups shared throughout the campground, not dedicated to each site.
RV Campground info
The RV Campground area is nicely shaded. Several sites were closed in mid-September due to social distancing. If interested in this area, I would try to lock in a spot as early as you can.
There were only a few pull through spots. Many of the sites that you back in to were pretty narrow.
Popular campground
The R.V. sites are well shaded and well spaced and many will accomodate large R.V.’s. Several sites offer the opportunity for two R.V.’s to camp close together and some are located along a small stream. The group sites are set up with tent pads around a central fire ring and picnic table area.
Convenient to the Ocoee River, the Ocoee Whitewater Center, Parksville Lake beaches and boat ramps, many miles of mountain bike/hiking trails and whitewater rafting, it’s a great central location for day trips.
Love this campground
Great site. Easy to navigate around sites. Lots of shade. Close by Occoee White Water center where the Atlanta olympics took place. Plan your visit around the water release. There schedule is online. Pretty cool to see the water trickle and then mass if water come at you.

Quiet place
Only issue with Parksville lake is that it is a tight drive into the sites. Otherwise nice and quiet campground.
Ocoee rafting trip
We stayed here for the weekend when we were rafting the Ocoee. Small Campground but perfect if rafting. We were in 35 foot trailer but some tight turns in camp ground. If large rig then call for advice on site. Our site was exactly what we needed.
