Great First Experience
I’m in Nashville frequently due to work. First time traveling with the camper, and chose this place after seeing it a few times. They were great. Clean report and nice people.
Nice but next to train tracks
This is a nice campground. Owners are kind operate a great general store. Live music every day and a nice rotating menu for breakfast and lunch. Clean laundry and bathrooms.
Only downfall are the trains that operate 24/7 directly adjacent to the grounds. Trains rolling by at 3 am is not how I like to spend my night. It’s not the campground’s fault by any means, but I will consider another option next time I’m in Nashville.
Great campground
The people who run this campground are super nice. Will try to answer any questions they can. The campground itself is clean and well kept. They have live music every night. I will use them again when visiting Nashville TN.
Decent place, well kept
Nightly live music Pros Nightly dinner (one option) Good placement of sewer hookup and utilities Very nice and helpful staff Restrooms have coded entry and are very clean
Cons Not much shade in general Playground is really just a swing set No grill or fire pit Showers run out of hot water very quickly There’s a busy train track 100ft from my rv and it’s very loud. They seem to run a train by here every hour until dawn
Clean and very helpful
Very clean campground. Staff was very helpful.
Nice campground, but very tight sites.
The Grand Ole RV Resort is a nice park to stay in near all the fun and sightseeing of Nashville, Tennessee. The campground is very tidy and well-kept. There are a lot of grassy areas for your dog and large shade trees to relax under. The office doubles as a restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner daily. They also sell snacks and basic RV supplies. The campground does not have a lot of amenities, but makes up for it with live nightly music! What a treat when you are visiting “Music City!” The sites are 30/50 amp FHU and pretty tight. We are literally parked less than 2 feet from our neighbor, so if you don’t like close quarters, this is probably not the right park for you. We enjoyed our stay here, though, and would stay here again when in the area. 👍🏻😊

Nice place
Nice park and service. Friendly staff and nightly live entertainment. Now the train is another thing, but you get used to it.
Fantastic spot
I would stay here longer and more often. Perfect place to stay if visiting Nasheville.
Wish it had more for kids
The sites were very close to each other, but it was fairly quiet. It is close to a train track that has a train that runs about every hour. The music was great and the service was friendly. However, they show a playset on their map and it was two regular swings and a baby swing. This was disappointing since we had little ones.
Great place
I wish I could have stayed longer. Live music every night was nice. Backing my trailer is not my strong suite but the guided me through it like it was nothing. Great stay.
Super friendly staff
Took us last minute. Very friendly and accommodating. Clean bathroom facilities
GREAT Customer Service & A Super Fun Time!
I'm originally from Nashville and this was a wonderful place to spend the holidays so we could visit family and be in our own "home" still! We stayed for 2 weeks over Christmas/New Year's and shared a buddy site with my dad. I believe it was sites 38 & 39. We have a 40' motorhome and flat tow a Jeep and he has a 5th Wheel and had 2 vehicles there. We all still had plenty of space.
First, let me tell you what I LOVE about Grand Ole RV! The location is ideal. Right off the interstate and very easy to get to downtown as well as closer local restaurants & shopping. The staff is the BEST! Everyone was super friendly & very helpful. Unfortunately, our hot water & furnace unit had to be replaced during our stay, but it couldn't have happened at a better campground as the shower/bathroom area was very clean & nice. We had breakfast at the market a couple of times & it was delicious! The entertainment for NYE was seriously the most fun we've had out in a while. Nothing says Nashville like live country music! We will definitely be staying here again. **Tip, we drove up the road just a couple of minutes to Galbreath's Market (looks like an old gas station) and had the best filet cut on-site for us that we've ever had! Apparently, local country music stars will get their meat here often too.
What you may not love - but totally didn't bother us! This is right off the main road so there can be some traffic noise. Again, didn't bother us. There is also a very active railroad track that runs right along the back - which we actually loved. This isn't a campground that we would choose to stay at all day every day and play with the kids as they don't have a lot of amenities for that. The sites are mostly gravel, and while ours was level, it does get a bit of flooding when it rains. None of this, however, will stop us from being back. And we're pretty picky!
Bottom line, if you're visiting Nashville and want a fun time & excellent customer service in an excellent location, don't pass up Grand Ole RV!

“Customer service is not lost!”
I' m happy to say this is a family business who still understands the value of the customer experience. This is a great location(right off I-65) to explore all the Nashville area has to offer with convenience to downtown Nashville, the historic Franklin, TN community, and many other attractions...and if self exploring is not your thing the campground offers tour opportunities galore. The campground offers all the amenities you would expect in a commercial campground: very clean bathhouses, propane, convenience store, level spaces, full hook ups, wi-fi, escort to the site plus several things that weren't unexpected: restaurant dining, live free(good) entertainment nightly and some of the most pleasant staff we have encountered. The spaces are close together; however this seemed to be part of the character of the park...the pleasantries seemed to spread from the staff through the other RV'ers.

Perfect little spot
The downs: spaces are tight, location is in between a railroad and a highway, there is little shade & most spots are all gravel
BUT the people are amazing and make up for it in every way. Staff assists in parking and anything you need. We made great friends with our neighbors who were just as helpful and generous. Live music every night, breakfast and dinner available daily. Really is a great spot. Noise didn’t bother us at all from the trains, but we are from the city.
Bottom line, good value had a great time, would definitely stay again.
