Amazing!
Loved our stay here. Staff friendly & helpful. Beautiful wooded park with good space between sites. Very clean!
Campground Bliss
Very pleasant campground. Not to busy. Very quiet. Exceptional staff.
Excellent
Staff very nice and professional
Clean, spacious wooded sites, great staff
Stayed here for 5 nights. Started off super helpful meeting us at checkin and escorting to site. Helpful parking assist. Clean bath house and showers. Dog area and playground spacious - lots of places to walk dog. One con is the firewood bundles are TINY for what you pay. There were 6 small sticks in each bag.
Great campground
We stayed here almost 2 weeks and really enjoyed it. It was busy over Thanksgiving weekend, but otherwise pretty quiet. We had a nice back-in site and the sites had decent space between them, especially for a KOA. They had a fenced in dog area and there is a gravel road behind the campground that was great for walking dogs. The Maddron Bald trailhead is only 0.6 miles down the gravel road and was great for hiking and running. The laundry room was one of the cleanest I've seen at a campground and$3/load. And finally, Jeremy was the best at helping us back in our site. He had our 35' 5th wheel backed in after 2 minutes.
Peaceful/relaxing
Love this campground! Has all you need or want! This is our second trip here and would recommend to anyone. It is clean and well maintained! Only negative is the firewood bundles seen small for the amount of wood you get.

Nice, very well maintained KOA campground.
RV sites are level, spacious, with some privacy between most sites. Park is clean and maintained well. Location is excellent, borders the national park.
On the con side, though dogs are allowed, no cleanup bags provided, and no trash bins for dog waste at all, not even at dog run. Also a minor issue- no propane tank for rv fill up if you need it.
Otherwise, highly recommend park when visiting Smokies.
Great location about 15 miles outside of town
This was a weekend getaway for us and another couple. We both drove about 8.5 hrs and were greeted by friendly staff, great location and well maintained sites. We were in space 4 and while it was tight to back into, it was great once we were in. Water pressure was fine and cable and other services very nice. The store is well stocked, the bath houses clean and well maintained. This location is open year round, but in December it’s lightly attended and not a lot going on...that’s not a bad thing. We would definitely come back here again.
Can’t go Wrong
Tucked away in the Smokey Mountains with a friendly and helpful staff. Restrooms are clean with good water pressure. Camp ground well kept with easy to access connections. It your looking for a weekend away or a week of vacation you can’t go wrong staying here.
Great First Time Visit to a KOA
I’ve never been to a KOA. I’ve never been to the Great Smoky Mountains. The area and campground were a wonderful introduction for me. This campground has great amenities including an awesome shower house, laundry facility and camp store. Plus an outside patio and indoor recreation area. You could rent ATV’s, swim in the pool, rent bikes and enjoy a group bbq. The owners were always available and staff were very friendly and helpful. And you’re right smack in the middle of this beautiful area. I’d come back in a heartbeat.
