Beautiful Lake Campground with a few inconveniences!
Me and a friend came camping here this second weekend in January. The campground itself was well maintained and the hook ups, dump station and bathhouses were easy to find and use. We had only 2 complaints, the gate to get in closes at 10pm, unfortunately I85 was shut down on our way up so our 3 hr drive became 6hrs. We did not make it before the gate closed and had to stay at Walmart. No code no exceptions. Secondly, there are no trashcans anywhere, on the grounds or in the bathhouses. The trash dump is in a completely different part of the park. It was inconvenient with picking up after my dog. Besides those two things, beautiful lake camping with affordable campsite prices!

Beautiful Family friendly park
Beautiful playgrounds for kids. They have a beach area at the day use area. The park ranger was super friendly and helpful. Our fifth wheel was a lil bigger than site but they were very accommodating.
Clemson Stop Over
Quiet and breezy
Family friendly, well maintained
My family stayed at South Cove on a Friday night. We were impressed with the large number of pull through sites and the cleanliness of the campground. We arrived late in the day and the camp hosts were friendly and quick to assist with checking in. There are several large play areas in walking distance. There appeared to be beautiful lake views from almost every site. We very much enjoyed our stay and plan to return for a longer visit.

Great family camping
If you have a boat or jetski there is a ramp. Has showers and restrooms. Mostly for RVs however there are a few tent sites that have tree cover. The RV sites don't really offer any trees for shade. The lake is great for swimming. The campground also offers paddle board and kayak rentals. The campground has a gate that gets locked at 10 pm. You can leave but you can't come back into the campground after the gate gets locked.
South cove park
One of only place we’re you have water on all sides.
It’s a nice place with water all the way around . Because they can’t get our place we reserved , they refused the money . Great for RV camping . But for tent camping , be careful on the places you take . Only that side is good for it. The RV sites , ground is to hard to put pulls in it. But the view is beautiful there .
Great for RC camping, but with tent be careful. Same if sites doesn’t work. Ground is hard to put post in. All sites you get a great view of the lake.

Family favorite
Campground on Keowee lake that my family has been routinely going to since before I was born. Very clean grounds and facilities plus the lake is fairly clean.
pictures will be coming soon
Too many geese!
We loved this campground! Perfect for kids, right on the lake. Loved the playground 😊
warning! Don’t feed the geese! The campers next to us fed them and the next day we woke up with goose poop on everything! Including the picnic table!
Lakeside camping gem
Don't let the term "County Park" lead you to believe this campground is not up to par with larger campgrounds. All sites have 50 amp electric and water hook-up. It sits out on a peninsula on Lake Keowee in Seneca, SC. Almost every site is on the water, and those that aren't, have a water view. Most sites on the water are without shade, so be prepared in hotter months. You can go into the lake right from your site. If you don't have access from your site, there is a really nice sandy beach area for swimming. There is a nice store at the campground office where you can by camp wood at a very reasonable price.
Right on the lake
Beautiful tiered campsites. In the last year there has been many upgrades to the existing sites.
