Quiet, fishable, secluded

Peaceful area outside of Tulsa metro on the outskirts of Broken Arrow near Coweta. 25min drive into Tulsa. 10min drive to Walmart and fast food. Checkout Smokies BBQ nearby for great food. Sites were pretty level using gravel. A few were completely shaded but most were barely shaded. Shoreline really close to campsites with boatdock and fishable shoreline. Restrooms were clean but very hot. Showers available but did not use. Fire ring, picnic tables and lantern hooks available. Dump station is clean and easily manageable. Grass needed to mowed especially since several snakes were seen. Whole area was pretty clean and peaceful.

quaint w/ waterfront views

My friend and I arrived late at night - around ten pm - and even then the camp host came around to kindly make sure we had our reservation, which made us glad to know the place was secure. In the morning we saw the whole campground was quite small, although all situated right along the river, which was lovely. There was one area for RVs, and another for tents. When we visited there was a handful of other family campers so that the place felt safe but by no means crowded. Although we didn’t find any hiking trails or swimming access (maybe some we don’t know about?), the boat ramp was right inside camp, with good parking as well. There are bathrooms / showers on site, and many spots for RV hookups. The whole place was shrouded in big, healthy trees (with good space to run around or hammock), and hugged by farmland. This would be the ideal place for a quiet weekend getaway for anyone with any kind of boat from motor to paddle. Five stars for achieving all they advertise

Nice hidden just outside of the city

I discovered this campground a few months ago. It is just a few miles East of Broken Arrow and sits pretty much right on the bank of the Verdegris river. We took our kayaks out to enjoy the beautiful sunset! They have decent bathrooms that were clean! It's reasonable price and a nice get away that's not too far!

Do not stay here, thieves

Pretty sure the people who tend to this are thieves. My family’s camper was broken into and our truck was stolen from this place. The people did not care or offer any help because they run a scam.

Needed some maintenance but the area was clean and host was great

I liked it. Not sure if I’d come here for vacation but we enjoyed our stay for a athletic tournament.
