Wiseman Ridge
About
Wiseman Ridge is a boutique micro campground for RVs only. Our property adjoins the Blue Ridge Parkway in Linville Falls NC with easy access off NC 221, we offer full hook up RV sites with views of Hawksbill, Table Rock and Humpback Mountains. Micro means we have only a handful of sites but that is where micro ends. Each site is expansive, with large areas to spread out and enjoy the views or play yard games. Unlike typical RV parks our sites are spread out on the ridge top and offer great views and lots of space.
Our campground offers a unique camping experience for the RV and outdoors enthusiast. All of our RV sites feature views of the surrounding peaks and have full hook ups with, water, septic and 30 or 50 amp power access at each site as well as a picnic table, in ground fire pits.
Wiseman Ridge provides the peace and quiet of nature at its finest, with easy direct access to the Blue Ridge Parkway by foot or by road. We are just a mile down the parkway from the entrance to the Linville Falls parking lot and picnic area, and 2 miles from Kistler Memorial Highway (Old NC 105) that provides access to the western rim of Linville Gorge and multiple trailheads.

Excellent experience !!
My SO & I stayed here and everything was wonderful ! We had plenty of privacy, space, wifi was okay and we found plenty to do in the area :)
Not as advertised
Spent one night in site number 3. This campground has five sites with full hook ups. The web site says they have internet but it was spotty at best, cell service worked better if you were standing in the right spot. Not a negative for us as we did not need service. Web site says spacious sites, for us it was spacious because we we’re the only ones there. If the place was full it would have been like being at a commercial park like KOA or similar. We stayed in our sprinter van witch is about 22 feet long. I would not recommend a large class A or a long tow behind. Not that much room. They advertise great views but I would disagree the views were ok. At 80$ a night I would expect more amenities. We have stayed at hundreds of parks and campground and this one is more like a 30$ a night park at best. Although if you get it to yourself it’s not to bad. Saw a had full of deer and lots of nice wild flowers. There is some frisbee golf goals throughout the campground, although some seem to be on private property. Overall not bad if you have it to yourself or maybe just one or two others. Again would not recommend this campground for large rigs there is a long steep gravel drive way up to the ridge where the camping is. Also coming into the grounds of the pavement is a steep hill with a sharp left at the bottom, where you then climb to the ridge.
