The Bike Farm

The Bike Farm no longer offers camping.

Called about reservations, they are no longer operating the campgrounds. Guide service only.

This is a great Campground if you're not looking for a bunch of frou-frou amenities. The road is well maintained but can be very steep in places so make sure you have some tread on your tires. No garbage cans so pack in and pack out. No generators allowed. But clean campsites and plenty of toilets. There's even a primitive hot shower. The people are very friendly both the campers and the people who operate the camp. Wood is available on-site $5 for 10 pieces or you can pack your wood in. I will definitely be back.

Stayed multiple times, this place rocks! The staff is super cool and laid back. The trail system is awesome. It’s super nice being able to bike straight from your camp and go ride. The out door showers are bad ass as well! Such a cool environment.

If you’re looking for a paved place to park your 30 foot long fifth wheel this isn’t it. If what you are looking for is a great place to get out in nature and get away from the crowds you’re in the right spot. The staff here are super friendly and always down to give advice about how to experience the area, even if you aren’t on a bike. If you are on a bike there are a few trails right on site and the campground is close to mills river, Pisgah, and DuPont state forest. TLDR: Friendly staff, clean campsites, close to everything.

The staff at this campground are exceptional. Super friendly and informative. The campgrounds are well up kept and has your basic needs.
