Beautiful location
Beautiful area the campground is in. The sites are very close together but the campground itself it spread out with a couple different loops so you don’t feel like you’re in a mega campground. Lots of on site activities, pond, paddle boats, kayaking, mini zip line, etc. great place for families!
Great overall experience
Very quiet. Lots of things to do for all ages. Very clean as well!
Nice place
The sites are clean. Bathrooms seem maintained. Plenty of stuff for the kids to do

Wasn’t my first choice, won’t be back
First let me start by saying this was not my first choice, the KOA was booked and this place had available spots…. I now know why. I see all these reviews about what a wholesome “Christian” establishment this campground was and I find it to be anything but.
They are more worried about banning breeds like Pit Bulls and Rottweilers (and mixes containing the two) than they are keeping the trash dump clean. This seems like a pretty big over site considering we are in bear country. Additionally little ankle bitters were often running around and one in particular came after my dog and I on a controlled fishing walk.
They lock you in during “quiet hours”, yeah that’s right as if getting to and from this property wasn’t tricky enough with winding mountain roads they have narrow twisting single direction roads and they close the back gate from 10pm to 8:30am.
In addition unless you are a seasonal camper don’t expect your campsite to be in good standing or have a view of a lake. Our spot was right next to the bathhouse which is another disgusting issue in and of itself, our spot was completely washed out in the front to where I wasn’t sure we’d actually make it over the divot without bottoming out. And the spot was just barely big enough to fit our 26’ trailer without driving it off the back ledge into the multiflora rose that was over grown behind us. We also had to share power and water with the bathhouse which isn’t ideal if you like a little water pressure.
Be prepared to deep clean your trailer afterwards because everything is paved with a fine mica crushed sand material that will track in even if you take your shoes off outside and leave everything shiny and gritty.
Oh yeah and be very vigilant of Thieves! Thankfully we had taken our dog with us that particular afternoon because someone tried to steal our surge protector and it caused the air to shut off and made some things switch over to battery and propane. In all my years I’ve never had someone mess with my campsite so to come home to find it dangling from our box because we lock all our stuff to the pole was infuriating to say the least
Property was convenient to visit my in-laws is the only reason this review even deserves one star. The facilities were ok at best and if you want any peace and quiet good luck because most people just turn their kids out like a pack of wild animals and let them do whatever they want….. like pee all over the toilet in the bathhouse with the door wide open.
Oh yeah and if you need a good laugh read through their rules! I already mentioned their backwards way of thinking when it comes to certain breeds, they also prohibit PDA (as determined by management)…. So can I kiss my husband or will that get me banned? They don’t bother to outline anything so good luck deciding for yourselves! Oh and they don’t want you using the WiFi for adult entertainment…. Not that you could send an iMessage let alone stream an adult film off their WiFi!
Definitely not worth the $50 a night we paid.

Christian family campground
They are a Christian family campground through and through. They have a bible lesson and activity for the children including hay ride on Saturday morning. They do a church service on sundays. They have plenty of activities for kids to do. A swimming lake with slide. Boats, zip line, fishing, a game room, move room. Only bad thing is the bad house are probably the worst I have ever used. We have stayed a few times and will continue to come back
Amazing
Friendly staff, nice view, little small places for big rigs, but I would recommend
Wonderful place!
This campground is wonderful! We found it out of an emergency stop and stayed for 5 nights. It is beautiful and has so much for the kids to do. To just let the kids be kids and have fun! We now know where it is and plan to come back. Love it here. My kids, ages 12, 11 and 8 didn’t want to leave! Thanks for having a great spot for my family to make some wonderful memories!
Family friendly
Very friendly staff.
Fun and family friendly
This is a great campground to camp with ur family. They have swimming, a little zip line .My then 7 year old played on it all day they even have a game room.
fun with kids
We stayed 2 nights. We went kayaking and swimming daily. There is a slide in the middle of the pond that my son loved. when it rained the game room had a movie on and lots to do inside. Pet friendly. We will be returning. Tent sites had electric and water on them.
Great Family Campground
Awesome, we all loved it! Pond has kayaks and canoes to use. Gameroom was decent but could be a little better. Office staff was helpful. Sites are nice and well equipped and bathrooms were clean.
