Buck Creek is Beautiful

This is a family owned friendly campground just minutes from everything in Asheville. We stayed here and drove to the Blue Ridge parkway on day drives. One side is your camp spots next to the creek. The other side is a beautiful wide open green space. The store has all your essentials!

Great CG On Buck Creek

We spent one night here (May 23, 2022). We set up in a down pour, the office attendant offered to help with umbrellas and 2-way radios, nice guy! This is a very nice, easy access CG with level pull through(a few) and back-in gravel sites (many are backed up to the Buck Creek, it’s beautiful). There are a number of activities available: swimming, fishing, biking, hiking/walking and an RC flying field. We did not make use of the bathrooms or showers. The laundry room was clean. It is a great base camp to visit the area. The WiFi was great as was cell phone reception (we did not try the cable TV). We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice camping by a river

This is our first trip here, and we would camp here again. The campsites are a bit close to each other, but they are well maintained. There is only one bathhouse so if you are not close to it you will walk further to get to it, but it is clean and well maintained as well.

Great RV Park

We stayed here August 16-19 in our 39ft motorhome and toad. Buck Creek has easy access and nice campsites. The property is well kept. The owner was very hospitable.
It was convenient to visit Linville Falls and Mount Mitchell.

Great Little RV Park

Great place, super clean. We’ll definitely be going back anytime we’re in the area. About 45 minutes from downtown Asheville NC.. Lots of great places to visit near by. Full hook ups.

Awesome campground!

Tight spot but by the creek. Site couldn’t get any better! Swimming, tubing, fishing available. Shaded and perfect for our pop up, but lots of larger rigs there as well.
