Great in town rv park!

We stayed at this location during the Sparks Rib cookoff. The only reason for four stars is due to how narrow the spots are. With the slide out and stairs down we were hanging over the edge of the pull through site. But nice quite park, clean bathrooms,a casino and 32 lane bowling alley! From here we visited the rib cookoff in Sparks, Civil war days in Virginia City and several other areas during our stay. Would definitely book again.

Nothing Fancy Good Bathhouse

A pretty typical Casino RV park, pretty tight paved sites, mostly asphalt with a few trees. Bathroom and showers are adequate and clean. WiFi was variable worked most of the time. Convenient to 580 and downtown Carson City.

Rude employees

The front desk has a person named Ann who needs some serious Customer Service Training! I called to make a reservation and she immediately put me on hold without giving me an opportunity to ask a quick question. I was on hold for 10 minutes and probably would have been longer if I continued to hold. I called back and she hung up on me as soon as the phone was answered! I called a 3rd time and finally got through to another more pleasant employee who allowed me the chance to ask my question which was “do you have tent areas”. She answered my question very respectfully which took a whole 15 seconds. I called back to complain to the Operations Manager and guess who answered my call... Ann. I told he I needed to speak to a Manager and she asked me what was it about, etc, I told her to just patch me through to a Manager. This “Operations Manager” came on the line and when I asked for his name HE got an attitude! I will make sure to pass the word to my fellow Military Veterans and friends, NOT to stay at this RV Park! This whole COVID-19 has caused many businesses to lose respect of their customers because they are now booming! WE pay good money for SERVICE and many of these businesses have forgotten that. I hope you don’t have the same experience I did, just making a Reservation!

Great spot

Very clean, paved parking lot with full hookups and cable. Spaces are a bit tight but easily doable. Laundry and showers very clean. Casino and restaurant are as expected. 9.99 prime rib was also pretty good.

OK, Its a Casino. BUT...

4 Stars for a Casino Campground you ask? The key here is location, location, location. Now of course it isn't a camping type campground, but it is a nice full hookup location that is a great jumping off point for so many things and places. 30 minute drives will get you to Virginia City, Reno, or close to Tahoe. Staying there for 4 nights gave us a great week of touring all of these places, as well as Donner Pass, Squaw Valley, North Lake Tahoe (remember the Cal/Neva Club?), as well as the local area of Carson City, including the state capitol, and a nice day trip around lake Tahoe.

Yes, it's a casino - you decide if that's good or bad, but the restaurant is pretty good and the meal was free for signing up for the players card. Having 4 bars of 4G LTE at you campsite isn't a bad perk either.
