Beautiful place to stay on Lake Michigan

We camped with a RV; I felt like I was at the Hilton having water and electricity hook up. The view out our back window was spectacular!!

Really nice open campground

Beautiful place right on a gorgeous Sandy beach. Immaculate shower house with coin op laundry. Will visit again.

We lucked out with spot #24. It was perfect, lots of room and directly across from water. Restrooms were kept up and clean. Very nice hosts and pretty quiet campground (when we were there anyway). We will be back.

Plenty of availability poor hospitality

I stayed here just one night last minute and they had plenty of spots available, it was mostly peaceful although they don’t really enforce the quiet time considering there was someone playing music and singing across the way 2hrs past when you’re supposed to be quiet. If you try and talk to the staff, most are fairly nice young people. There are a few other staff members that are older men who for some reason have a sense of hostility in their voice. I was pressured to pay an extra fee to swim even though I didn’t have to check out until an hour later. They don’t like you parking in the parking lot up front and for some unknown reason when you try and ask questions they try and debate you as if you’re starting a fight with them even though you just want a few questions asked. They’re rude over the phone and seem like they don’t want you asking anything of them. One of the rude guys name is Mark.

Terrible customer service. Decent price for what you get. Good last min location. About 30-50mins from attractions. Spotty service. Ground a little hard for tent stakes. Sites very close to neighbors. Private residences across lake with loud music at night.

Quiet, clean

Nice little county campground on lake Michigan. Sandy Beach. Clean bathrooms and showers, and a small laundry facility. Electric and water on each site. Dump station is available for registered campers. Sites are large, not crowded. Mixture of short term campers and long term locals. On site host, not a party spot.

On the shores of Lake Michigan

You could drive by and miss this little gem. Beautifully kept up county park with clean shower house. Pet friendly, they even have a hitching post for your pet while visiting the bathrooms. On site hosts.

All sites are within a short walking distance of the beach and some are right on the beach. Site L1 had a good mix of beach and woods. Near the beach is a small playground for the kids.
