horrible and don’t recommend

Review for Indian Valley Campground– NOT Family-Friendly I would strongly caution anyone considering a stay here, especially families.• Staff Behavior: The staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. They seem more interested in enforcing inconsistent rules than providing any sort of hospitality. Expect to be yelled at by an older man who appears to take pride in confrontation. The cleaning lady is especially unpleasant to deal with.• Facilities: The playground is in poor condition and unsafe for kids. Water sources were often overflowing and filthy—completely unacceptable.• Environment: Seasonal campers are often drunk and creepy, creating a very uncomfortable and unsafe atmosphere. One weekend, a man even exposed himself to others at the campground. That alone should disqualify this place as a family destination. Overall, the experience was terrible. Between the unpredictable rules, rude staff, unsafe environment, and unsettling behavior from other campers, I cannot recommend Indian Valley Campground to anyone—especially families with children.

Indoor pool!

The indoor pool was great for the preseason camping! Being there in early May, when it was rainy we were happy to have that amenity. The river runs through the campground and is beautiful. The staff could be friendlier, but overall it’s a nice campground. Keep in mind when booking that many of the sites don’t have on site water!

They do have lots of weird & small fees.. so keep that in mind also.

Indian Valley

Cute, small campground. It is along the Thornapple River where it is very popular to canoe, kayak, and tube. It’s close enough to a city but not too close.

Great location and tons of fun, well priced!

IIndian Valley Campground is right on the thorn apple river! great sites, some with electric, they even have a few cabins for rent. Indoor pool and mini golf for the kids. A small onsite store, but not to far of a drive if you need a grocery store or other amenities. They are also very affordable for canoe and kayak rental. Great place to go!
