We have loved this campground for its sites right on the park, and great beach area with park at the beach also. Lots of trails for hiking and exploring but unfortunately this summer swimmers itch got us!
Lots and lots of raccoons, that aren’t shy at all!
The campground was great, and clean. The park was nice and so we’re all the kid activities! The pool is very nice and the store is stocked nicely. Some of the seasonal kids got a little wild, but the owners were quick to respond!
The indoor pool was great for the preseason camping! Being there in early May, when it was rainy we were happy to have that amenity. The river runs through the campground and is beautiful. The staff could be friendlier, but overall it’s a nice campground. Keep in mind when booking that many of the sites don’t have on site water!
They do have lots of weird & small fees.. so keep that in mind also.
The campground is overall really quiet during the week. Quite busy on the weekends but they are good about keeping quiet times. The pool is a wonderful perk, and so is the river running through that has a nice Sandy and shallow bottom to set a chair in and relax!
Such friendly staff with a very strong sense of community among the campground. Lots of seasonals but they are so welcoming and kind to campers. Very clean swimming area, good fishing, clean bathrooms and showers!
Clean out houses, very large and private lots with nice pits, and tables. No swimming area, but lots of fishing spots and docks. I preferred the large lake. The smaller lake is closer to residential areas, and the dumpster was very fill and had trash blowing everywhere.
