Quiet, relaxing, peaceful– this is one of the few campgrounds where the classic tradition of camping, resting, and relaxing amidst the quiet sounds of nature, has been preserved. The forest, in which its many campsites and motor home sites nestle, features hills and plateaus with vistas across the campground and out toward the sea. There is a mix of grassy, sunny, safari sites and spacious wooded sites which offer an outstanding camping experience for tents as well as RVs of any size.

Out of Date
The site and facilities are in poor condition. The bathrooms are in disrepair and have black mold in the walls and showers. The sites are rocky with ruts. Only plus was it was quiet.

Simple wooded campground
I like place because it’s a very simple and very wooded campground. Lots of trees does make it a little difficult to back in a camper but is doable. Very limited amenities but there is a pond for kayaks and light boating. Close to Plymouth Center and Cape Cod. Just a 1/2 mile away is a great nature walk to the ocean. We have been here 4-5 times now as for us it’s a great little weekend getaway location.
Good people, needs updating
The staff here is friendly and helpful whenever you call.
The property itself is in need of updating. The bathrooms work well enough, but they are in need of a significant amount of maintenance.
The sites are kept clean and have water and electric (some may be by powercord). The tent sites do not offer much separation in the area I stayed.
The sites do have plenty of room for a tent, vehicle and each have their own fire pit and picnic table.
It does have the ability for people to do several recreational activities on site: walking trails, beach, volleyball, basket ball.
I stayed a couple nights and had a good stay overall.
Great campground
The campground is so peaceful. Birds everywhere and children laughing. We had the greatest camping neighbors. It was really good. The site we had only had 110v. One night it caught on fire. Scared us to death. Luckily there was nothing plugged in. It was newly installed in this area so hopefully it’s all good in other areas. There is a beach area that is beautiful. There are kayak rentals. It’s a great place to see all that Plymouth has to offer. Also super close to Cape Cod and Boston.

Infinitely bad with no redeeming qualities. If this is what camping was then I would stay inside.
Infinitely bad with no redeeming qualities. If this is what camping was then I would stay inside. It begins with a painstakingly lengthy check in followed by a scavenger hunt for the impossible to access site they have assigned you. The pond appears to be the place to relieve yourself as the restrooms are unusable. Avoid.
