Horrible place and service

DO NOT STAY HERE! Found this place on Passport America for$20/nt and proximity to Ichetucknee Springs seemed perfect. Got there close to dark so didn’t really get to check out the place until the next morning. When we woke up, it was obvious that pretty much every other site than us lived there full time. They put us on site 29. We went to the spring the next morning and returned around lunch. Upon our return we discovered our electric connection was smoking at the RV plug. After a brief freak out we talked to the owner or manager, Craig. He offered to let us use tools and a 30amp cord. We took the parts we needed to replace to Camping World 30 minutes away. Well upon our return Craig was nowhere to be found so we returned to camping world for a new 30 amp cord and surge protector. When we finally got connected the surge was showing an open neutral. In order to salvage our trip, we ended up moving sites at 9pm at night. We called all day the next day with no answers. According to the locals that site has always had electrical problems. When we finally approached the owner on the last morning he could care less and said he had an electrician look at the site and it was fine. He also refused to help with any of the parts or even give us a refund for one day because“we only paid$20 a night“. Then told us we needed to get out because he had someone else coming in rather than putting this new person on site 29. This place is gross. The bathrooms smelled like smoke and toilets were often clogged. Most trailers are old, falling apart, and have trash piled up. It’s nothing but dirt and ants. There are pit bulls just roaming freely around. Please do not bring your family to this park. They don’t care about your safety, only taking your money.

Great one night stopover

Stopped for one night as we drove south. It was a passport America park and was inexpensive and easy to get to.
