Quiet, shady, easy access.
Stayed here for 2days in a 35’ rv with my husband and 2 dogs. 30 and 50 amp service. I did not use showers or bathrooms. A lot of the spots where to small for our rig we stayed in 19 and there was plenty of room. The river is 100 yards away and there are ponds between. Large cottonwoods trees provide lots of shade. There was only 2 other campers here while we stayed. $20 a night for no electric $30 for electric. Dump station and water on site

Nice campground but noisey
Beautiful campground, looks rarely used. Hot water for the showers only lasted 2 minutes or so. Looked like locals drive through the campground as a short cut. For only 2 sites used while we were there it was a lot of traffic.
Hidden Gem
My third time here. It’s never full and it’s always shady. Cottonwood trees are everywhere. The showers are hot and you can walk down to the river to swim or fish. There are even pons that are for kids only that are stocked.

Rangely, Co Camper Park
This city operated RV/ Camping Park in Rangely, Colorado is an excellent city managed spot to spend the night or several days. The park offers electric sites for $20.00 a night or $10.00 a night for no electricity. Water spigots are located all around the park and there is a dump station on site. Numerous giant Cottonwood trees provide a lot of shade for the park. Located just outside of Rangely, everything you need is just minutes away.
City Parks and Rec staff frequent the property and are friendly and willing to help anyone in need.
There is restroom facilities and showers on site.
Dinosaur National Monument is only 30 minutes away and east of town is Kenney Reservoir is just minutes east of town and offers fishing, swimming and boating.
Make sure to visit the “Tower” on the west side of town. It is a converted, 3 story, water tank that is now a recording/ sound studio.
The acoustics of the tower is definitely something you should experience!
We stayed here four nights with our 32 foot fifth wheel and there is several spots to fit that and our truck. Lots of space for tent camping on grass.
Highly recommend Rangely Camp Park!

Decent site but very bright
After getting a bit lost visiting ghost towns in the area we used this as a fall back location. The sites are fine and facilities are clean. The only issue is that the site is full of street lights that make it a bit difficult to sleep especially for car campers. This may offer some extra peace of mind though.
Basic but nice
This was a last minute stop for us and we ended up staying two nights. We were in Rangley to UTV and glad we found this place. We were the only ones there! Great shade throughout and this is welcomed in this high country desert. The bathrooms are serviceable at best. Not really clean, but useable. There are showers and dump station available. It was quiet and we felt safe there.
