Westport Beach RV Park and Campground
About
Here you will find beach-side camping in the sand, on grassy sites and along the creek.
Turn your RV into your own beachfront home in one of these roomy Northern California campsites. Both RV and tent sites are also available in our "park area," which is sheltered from the wind by large willow and pine trees. We allow a limited number of tent sites on the beach where you can thrill to the sound of crashing waves all night.
Our accommodations include 75 full hook-up RV sites, 50 tent sites, and 5 group sites. Westport Beach is a brilliant choice for family camping, family reunions, group get-togethers, retreats or romantic getaways. Its also a popular site for weddings, and there's plenty of space for your guests at the reception in the event tent.
For an easy, no-fuss getaway you can reserve our bluff-top rental cabin. It has two bedrooms, a full kitchen and living room and provides a beautiful yard, great for kids.
Our amenities include a camp-store, two restroom and shower buildings (hot showers!), a children's play area, horseshoe pit, volleyball play area, and laundromat.
A place to stretch out, use as a base for wandering the coast or exploring the redwoods, or simply stay put and relax, close in, yet far away, with no further need to wander.

Location location
Super cute, friendly campground. Incredible views and access to the ocean. Nearby town has amenities and this is an RV haven…now if we could just make it easier to get here!
Westport weekend

Westport Rv
One of the best places to stay ever
Excellent stay
Great spot for my first solo trip in my 23’ motorhome. Cell service only on the beach and no working Wi-Fi which worked for me cuz I needed a break. Campground was clean. Staff was friendly. Bathrooms clean. Campgrounds were only at 50% capacity so it was super quiet. Beach was vast and a stone’s throw from my campsite

Hidden Gem
The waves are loud, the cell service sucks and the Wi-Fi is very spotty…which makes it a perfect spot to get away! If you get a premium spot, you are almost right on the beach, which is pretty private since there’s no public access. This beats the crowded State Park system any day!
Great Beach location
Nice space between sites, beach is just a hop, skip and jump away. Little store has anything you forgot, clean bathrooms, fire pits at each site, friendly staff. We were in 24’ class C RV

Excellent stay!
The people were friendly I had a great spot on a little creek there was hardly anybody there we had the beach to ourselves it seemed. This place was clean a store with what you need and propane. It was well I will definitely come back. We saw at least seven steelhead salmon come up the river to spawn, breathtaking.

Fires on the beach.
Quiet in the off season. Fires on the beach are great. Rediscovered this place in February and have reservations for November. Only down side is if you make reservations in person, they don't guarantee you that spot.
A nice surprise
I’m not an RV park person but this place was great! We stayed in our van in the tent area which was secluded, with a stream meandering through, and it was nearly deserted in April. Clean bathrooms, hot showers for quarters, and an outside sink for doing dishes. You walk through the RV section to get to the beach, which definitely had more of a party vibe, but the beach was beautiful. At $68/night it’s expensive for camping but overall a nice overnight stop on our way South.
A Very Pleasant Surprise
We rented a cabin here back in October. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and their check-in area/shop had everything you needed if you forgot it. Our cabin was a five minute walk to the beach, with closer spots for RV’ers and tent campers.
The camp spots were all beautiful, flowery and grassy, with trees overhead.
I would definitely go again!
Campground on the beach
Almost every spot seemed to be pretty nice. Pull throughs seemed a little tight, but all back-ins were spacious. Very clean grounds. Clean bathrooms and the dish washing area was nice to get the big junks off your pans :). The beach is right there. You can see and or hear the waves crashing. Beautiful...will go again for sure.

All the ammenities!
We spent 4 nights here with our travel trailer. We had a site with full hook ups, including sewage (no need for dumping station!!). This is a great campground that is right on the beach! It has showers, flushing toilets, a little store, fire wood for sale, dish washing station, and even WiFi! The campground was very clean and really perfect for families! Couldn’t recommend more!

Great beach access.
We were lucky to get a site right next to the beach for our class B RV. This is a beautiful site along Highway 1.
PS if this site is full, there is a dry camp about a mile north on Highway one. It is right next to the remains of old Highway One and it’s called Oyster Point. It is a rustic grass lot with space between sites, but not much privacy.. There are picnic tables and fire rings. A couple of pit toilets are located around the site. There are about 45 campsites here. Sites here are on a first come basis and self registering. The photos included here are for oyster point.
