Quaint and affordable
This RV Park has all the standard features, full hook ups in every site, clean enough bathrooms, great laundry and a good price on wood bundles.
Good placing
Great owners and other campers not far from LRC
Smooth and enjoyable
I did a last minute reservation over the phone and pulled in after the staff was gone. The attendant did an outstanding job via texts to provide me all the information I needed for a smooth entry into the campsite. The campsite was clean and well maintained.
Little River
Campground is quiet, friendly and very helpful. Level sites. There are many sightseeing areas close to this park. It’s overall rating is “AWESOME”
Great weekend away
Hubby and I had a great weekend away. Campground was easy to find and we pulled right into our spot (site 20). Owner came around and she was very sweet. Campground was clean and each site had its own fire pit. WiFi worked great. Water and sewer hook ups easy to get to. Will definitely stay again.
A wonderful place in the woods with a babbling brook behind our camper. The colors of the mountain are breathtaking.
This is a small but beautiful campground. Linda and Tim, the owners are terrific. They will do anything they can to make your stay more enjoyable. We have been here three weeks and are in the process of changing our plans so that we can winter here for the next three months. Pet friendly with beautifulTrails to walk. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a friendly, peaceful and simply beautiful get away.

Close to Little River Canyon
Although this campground has a nice location it is not my preference due to its main focus on RV camping. If you are an RV camper they do have nice facilities and classic RV sites with hookups and such. The sites are also spaced far enough apart that you won’t be right on top of your neighbor. The campground has bathrooms and a small playground so it would be a good place to bring your family. Finally, they are definitely one of the closest camping options to Little River Canyon which is a big plus. If you do camp here make sure to head down the road to the Canyon Center and talk to the rangers who will help give you great info on where to hike and explore!

No tent camping
I drove into this RV park and there was a large sign that said “Absolutely no tent camping. Call for an explanation.” So the next closest campground I found was Desoto State Park but primitive camping is locked so arrive during business hours.
Terrible experience
Owner was so rude. We were forced to move the day after we arrived to a different spot and put in a spot with mud everywhere because she wanted someone else to take our spot that was staying longer. The owners knew we had battery trouble on our 8 hour drive there so we arrived around 11 pm. She texted at 8 am and was waiting to ambush us when we stepped out of the RV the next morning. We complied with the move with no complaints.
Shower had a clump of hair in it for 2 days so bathroom was not cleaned.
We called to inform them that the WiFi was not working in the new spot. We needed to check something for work. She said cussed my family out on speaker saying"Don't f with me. I don't f around with nobody" and threatened to charge our card if we report the WiFi was out to their cable company. We never said we were doing anything of the sort. I would not have ever thought to do anything of the sort. Just trying to get the WiFi working for a few minutes.
She made it so uncomfortable we left early and were going to drive home. Luckily I called Tranquility RV park nearby and they had availability for us to stay. They were wonderful! They saved our family vacation.
Great location
This campground is in a great location with amazing trails, history stops, waterfalls, and more located very close by. The owner stopped by our RV to welcome us and is very friendly and helpful. Upon booking, she sent links of great places to visit so we could better plan our stay. She was readily available by phone and made the check in process very quick and easy. We had a very generous spot and were able to receive the WIFI! The campground is hilly, which makes it even more appealing for me as I wanted to camp in the mountains amongst nature. Although hilly, our site was quite level and easy to get to. I would recommend this campground, especially if you enjoy nature in all its natural beauty!
No tents allowed
We pulled up here to Little River RV Park and Campground only to find a sign as we enter the premises stating that they no longer allow tent camping. Due to no body at the office or answering the supplied number could not talk anybody to talk to about this. ( Update ) I got ahold of someone and they informed me that because of the Corona virus they are not allowing tent campers because they are messy. Stating that they don’t clean up after themselves in the shower facilities. Not sure what this has to do with corona? being they let any other form of camping. And I’m sure not just tent campers use the wash house.

Little River Canyon
Your average campground. You can get all the information from the bio. Closest place to camp if you're wanting to explore Little River Canyon! It's beautiful and features many waterfalls and hiking!

Cute Privately Owned Campground
This is a very cute little campground and the owners are very great people! Some of the sites are a little close together but we have honestly been to worse places. Our site was number 5 and we had a great little fire pit and plenty of room for the kids to play. The campground is very close to Little River Canyon and Desoto Falls.

Quiet, relaxing, beautiful, pond, showers, electricity, water, and kind
This is my go to campground in fort Payne Alabama. The owners are super nice!! There is a pond with cute ducks!! You can buy a bundle of fire wood for $5. It is less than a mile from little river canyon national park! There are some really nice lots to choose from and they are currently adding more camping lots! 🥰🥰 if you want to be a little rowdy at night time I suggest getting a spot away from other campers and RVs because quiet time starts around 10pm. I like to be courteous and keep it Mello and calm when I'm there for I am a night owl. As the owners told me "Make yourself at home." 😁😁

Great place!
Very clean and inexpensive! Sites are extremely close but we were only ones in our area so it wasn’t bad. Very close to get hiking and waterfalls.
Weekend Getaway
2 night stay. Most sites are close together, but there are a few that are a little more private. Most sites have a slight to moderate slope to them. Lots of shade. Close to DeSoto State Park that has lots of hiking and site-seeing. Good alternative when DeSoto campground has no availability.

Near to Little River Canyon
This is your classic RV and tent campground with large pull in sites and hookup that is the closest option for camping to Little River Canyon. The canyon itself does not allow any camping and therefor you are limited to either here or going a little further north to Desoto State park. This site is not a terrible option but you wont have the same privacy and wilderness that you get at Desoto if you are tent camping. The nice thing though is that the site is well taken care of and provides reservations (when their website is done with repairs). They are also extremely close to the Little River Canyon park which makes it worth it. The canyon is gorgeous and provides for some amazing views especially if you drive the entire scenic road and stop at all the lookouts. There are a few options for hikes that take you down from the ridge into the areas that you could get to the water but it does not have as extensively developed trail network as you will find at Desoto and the areas further north. If you stay at this campground make sure to take some outings and explore all the incredible scenery in the area.

Opt for the "back country" camp sites
Sites are close together, but we were able to camp in the "back country" sites, which was all we needed. Seemed like there was construction going on for expansion of the camp ground.
Stayed here to check out the climbing at Little River Canyon NP. Little River is beautiful, the climbing not so much.
Campground was fine.
ok
sites are unlevel and tight. but lrc is a awesome park and awesome swimming.
