Rosa Campground at Navajo State Park is a solid spot for anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. This place is all about the views and the peace and quiet. The campground offers full hookup sites, which is a nice perk you don't always find in Colorado. The sites are designed to give you a bit of privacy with some trees scattered around, and many of them have a great view of the lake.

Fishing is a big deal here, especially for trout. The Navajo Dam Spillway is something to see, and the marina is pretty expansive, offering boat rentals and even hosting bass fishing tournaments. If you're into water activities, you'll find plenty to keep you busy.

Now, let's talk about the lake access. Some folks have mentioned that getting down to the water can be a bit of a trek, especially from the Rosa Loop. It's about a two-mile hike to the beach, and the slope can be steep and rocky. But if you're up for the climb, the water is worth it. Just be prepared to give your dogs a bath afterward if they join you.

The campground is pet-friendly, and you'll find amenities like drinking water, showers, and toilets. Fires are allowed, and there's firewood available, which is always a plus. If you're planning to stay a while, you might want to consider getting an annual pass to save on day fees.

Overall, Rosa Campground is a peaceful spot with stunning mountain views and plenty of activities to keep you entertained. Whether you're here for the fishing, the boating, or just to relax and take in the scenery, it's a place worth checking out.
