Stayed here with a friend for his daughters softball tournament. Campsites are nice, a little close together but very nice. On the last evening our toddler became ill and was up sick most of the night. Went to the office to inquire about late checkout or staying an extra night. They were awesome told us not to worry about it and make sure she was feeling better before we started on our way home. Thanks so much to this awesome staff!
We used this campground as a stopover on our way to the beach. They put us in a pull though site which was awesome for being easy to make quiet exit. Never I’m hooked the truck. Campground is close to the grocery store for the last few items before heading south. Has a great laundry and the kids had a blast for a few hours at the pool before it was time to turn in m.
Wow, what a nice place. I’m sure the experience would be even better if it were not the middle of a pandemic. This place offers a lot. Salt, sand and sun. What more does a family need? The laundry was lacking and of course some of the facilities were closed due to social distancing. The campground is in a great location to shopping and the grocery. A clean private beach and 2 separate pools in the campground offer all the water fun kids can possibly have. The campground also has some really good food trucks that come through in case dinner would be to much after a day at the beach.
A great campground that offers mostly level spots and clean bathrooms. Park has several really nice hiking trails and a calm quiet lake that only allows trolling motor access or canoe and Kayaks. The playground needs to be updated it is horrible. Other than that makes great place for friends and family to gather.
A nice smaller campground. Have to watch out for the spots near the front of the campground, they offer lots of shade but can be extremely unleveled. Park has a nice lake and some good hiking trails. The pool was closed due to the Covid Pandemic. Unfortunately they do not allow swimming in the lake.
