It’s good because it’s sheltered from the wind but maybe because it’s next to town it’s got garbage and I just spoke with one of the other people here and last night someone stole his generator that was chained to his RV clean cut didn’t even wake the dog so doesn’t seem like a great spot if you want to keep your generator or anything really

Great location to access a ton of hiking,boating,etc. Some noise from hwy 50 but overall quiet at night. Cell service for T-Mobile is not good however head into Gunnison and it’s good. They do have access to a longer dirt road some take an atv back to a small lake I took my mountain bike on but not being used to 7,000 feet I was sucking air but got to some great views without having to drive anywhere. Definitely coming back to use for a break from all the many boon docking places.

Helpful convenient right next to freeway so noisy all else is great!

The wide open Beach is of theirs have said 27 miles long and the water is cold right now but it's still pretty nice, one local person pointed out that you should know the number of the garbage barrel you are near each one has a different number so people can get to you in an emergency or she said they also deliver but you have to know your garbage barrel number. There's lots of space so no reason to park on top of each other so to speak but it's good to hang with other people just remember not everybody wants company haha overall I think with 27 miles you should be able to find something that works for you very chill good place
