We stayed here last February for one night.  The owner was so friendly and helpful!  He was even thoughtful enough to bring over a table and chairs to match my glamper.  

The site was level and the bathroom was clean.  We would stay here again.

We stayed here last year in May.  The sites were level and spaced apart.  Out of the three Jellystone's we have gone to in Texas this is #3 for us.  It would be nicer if they had a splash pad.  

We did enjoy the jump pad and playground.  The bathrooms were nice.

We have stayed at this campground twice and both times it's been a very nice experience.  The RV park is located on the opposite side of the river from Garner State Park.  

The best campsites are those on the outer rim of the campground.  The inner sites are closer together and you get to know your neighbors pretty well.  There is a nice bathroom and showers at the campground.  In the campground about 500 yards away there is a small store that you can buy general groceries.  

The walk to the water isn't far, none of the RV sites are located directly on the river.  The Frio is cold and the part of the river where this campsite is located is pretty deep (maybe 10-15 feet at the greatest.  There are a few shallow areas for little ones to play at and a rope swing a little farther down the river.  

Close by there is the 2nd largest colony of bats.

We were driving through Amarillo when we saw a billboard advertising this RV park.  We had no trouble getting a campsite without notice.  The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stopped mainly for the indoor pool.  However they also offer Limo Rides to the Big Texan Restaurant where you can order a massive steak.  They also have a playground for kids.

The sites were on concrete and did not have any shade where we were.

For $30 a night this is a decent campground.  We enjoyed our stay, but I'm not sure that I would pick this place compared to a campsite along Frio River if I had to choose.  

The road leading to your campsite is gravel and windy.  There is not a place to check in, you just drive directly to your campsite.  I'm not sure how well a 30-40 foot camper would fair going down the trail to the best sites by the water.

We stayed at site 5 which is a really nice location with views of the river.  You have to walk down the road and to the water but it's not far.  Sites 1 and 5 have trails leading to the bathroom.  The downside to this is that people would walk through your campsite to get to the water.  The trail leading to the bathroom is made of rocks and a little steep.  

Sites 31-38 are more out in the open and do not have shade.

The river is warm and somewhat clear.  There is a little ledge that your kiddos can jump off into the water.  The RV park also has kayaks you can rent.  

There is not a store in the park.

Beautiful RV park located in Lajitas.  It has an outdoor pool and when we went in May, the water was cold but it was nice to float in the pool.  The staff were very helpful.  It was already starting to get hot at the beginning of May.  

The stars are so bright at night and you can easily see the milky way galaxy.

We have stayed at this park twice and it's been fantastic each time!  The bathrooms and showers are always very clean.  The outdoor pool is a nice size and clean. 

Some of the sites have water views.  

My kiddo loved the playground and the ice cream socials on the weekends.

This is a well maintained Jellystone park located in New Braunfels, TX.  We have gone twice and had a blast each time.  The splash pad and water slides open at 1200 and my 6 year old had a lot of fun on them during the summer.  The bounce pad is very nice,  The indoor pool is great in the summer, when we went in February the water wasn't nearly warm enough for my liking.  

The sites are close together but many have large trees to help shade the area.
