Nice lake

The lake is right at the rear of your camper. Sites are extremely close together and only electric hookup. No sewer or water hook up. Must already have water or get it at the dump station at the entrance. You must use a bucket or jug for water at the campsites as the rangers no longer provide adapters for the hydrants. Not good as a little maintenance could fix any issues.

Good location for Devil’s Tower

New owners 3 months ago. The new owners are upgrading this campground. No water hookup or sewer but they have electric. Pull through sites make it easy. Not much road noise. Free bottled drinking water.

Handy to Lead and Deadwood

Sites are close and not very long. Like the other RV camps in the area you are right next to the road. Bath house is very small but it’s clean. Nice little creek right behind the RV. Management is nice.

Great over night stop

Small but not much use FREE. Stopped here on Dyrt review recommendation and was not disappointed. Labor Day weekend an we were the only one here. Only 2, 30 foot sites and 30 amp electric plus water. Did I mention Free? Pavilion with picknic tables. We would stay here again. A couple of large cottonwood trees shade the site. We didn’t unhook and the site was level.

Great camping

Really liked Smokemont, our favorite between Cades Cove and Elkmont as far as camping sites. The sites are a little bigger and more room between sites. About 10 miles from Cherokee, NC. A good Elk viewing area between Smokemont and Cherokee, NC. One camper saw a bear one morning but was not a problem.

No cell or TV service here. 2 bay dump station which was nice and clean with water for the RV.

Nice camp on the Blue Ridge Parkway

The campground is very pleasant. The sites are narrow and small especially those on the right side of the loop. A-20 was narrow and our slide out stuck out in the road. The picnic table and fire ring was down about 8 steps and no hand rail. Difficult if you have disability in walking. The rangers are very nice and the campground is quiet even with generators able to run from 8AM to 9PM.

We would stay here again but get a site on the left hand side of the road.

Overnight stop

Ok park for an overnight. Not too far off the interstate in an older neighborhood. Friendly city employee took our money and gave us a receipt. They are on duty from 3:00 pm until 11:30 pm. Police patrol so we felt safe. $11.00 for the night on level asphalt parking lot. 30 and 50 amp electric and water. We were the only rig here so it was quiet.

Plenty of playground equipment. We would stay overnight here again. Cannot beat the cost. I

Nice over night camping

Good place. Level spots with a lot of pull throughs. Pine trees for shade. Restrooms were nice and clean. Friendly staff. We would stay here again.

Great place to camp in the fall.

Camping in the pines was wonderful. Very nice bathrooms, private. Firewood is available for a donation. Canoes available. Water, sewer and electric hookups very close to trailer. Quiet and good site spacing. We would definitely stay here again. We stoped for 1 nIght on our way to Florida.

Wonderful camping

Great site to camp. Concrete pads and asphalt driveway. Good road around campsites. Pads are very level. Sites have a lot of space between them with many Oak shade trees. Covered picnic table. The table was newer aluminum and clean. Camping at it’s best. Good water and electric hook up. Dump station has two stalls and is in great shape.

Nice place for visiting Mountain View, AR

Nice clean park. Lots of tall trees that are well trimmed above RV’s. Host was very nice and helpful.

Close to visit Ozark Folk Life Center and Mountain View for the Folk Music. Easy access to the sites. Cable TV for $1.00 per day. Good hook ups. Reasonable price of $25 per night with free WiFi.

Our site was up front so we had a little road noise from the 2 lane highway but it wasn’t bad. Sites further back would be quiet. Gravel pads that are level.
