This is another great scout ing campground with cabins, rustic camping, tent sites, lakes, horses to ride, this is one HUGE camp ground for scouts to enjoy and learn..
I have been here a few times thru out the years, great place to camp get together grill all of that, and it has a great beach along Lake Huron, however the first 30 feet of water is very rocky so bring your water shoes….
I stayed here a few years ago and it was a beautiful campground back then, i am sure it still it, it was extremely well taken care of..
Very nice park, i think the staff could be a bit friendlyer, I had a great time both times that I have been here, The park itself is wonderful with the beach and all..
This is a very nice county Park, I have been here numerous times and have had a great experience each and every time, I come back every year for our families annual pig roast..The first year I came, I rented a rustic tent site and it was great we all had a great time, however the last three years, I have rented a cabin and there amish style cabins are absolutely amazing..Keep in mind they only have two cabins so if you want one better reserve is as soon as you know you want it…
This use to be a Boy scouts of America camp reserve until Silver Trails scout reservation opened up years ago, Now the city of Croswell owns and Operates it as a city park with one difference, it has its own caretaker for the grounds, it a beautiful camp along the Black River, with a canoe launch. Rustic tent camping only, There is a water Hydrant there for water that I believe is drinkable. They have updated out house type restrooms, that are very will lit and very bright with white paint and solar lights. If you wanna just go tenting for a weekend, this is a great place to go and its only a mile out of town..
