When we first pulled up to the camp grounds, we could tell it would be a spot we would stay again. In October, it's not so populated to where the closeness of the sites would be bothersome. There's on site laundry and showers. Electrical hook up. And being out of season, was a little cheaper. Will set up camp here again.
Couldn't have any fires, sites are easily visible from one end to the next, virtually no privacy from neighbors. Sirens all the time, no wildlife outside of squirrels and birds. Didn't feel like a vacation.
No running water, no bathrooms, no crowded plots. It's as primitive as can be. Very ample space except near the water. Multiple small lakes around the area. Can set up camp anywhere but the road really. As long as the previous campers clean up after themselves is fairly clean and a nice spot to camp. Ice age trail for hiking and good blue gill spot.
Very clean, nice amount of wildlife. Disc golf course and decent fishing. Plenty of trails to hike.
