No more corporate life. Full time outdoors!

Friendly staff

Sites are very crowded. You gotta love your neighbor. Lots of amenities. Very friendly staff. So helpful and accommodating. Good access to Yosemite. We prefer less neighbors but overall it was nice.

Don’t expect much more than a peaceful night!

Stayed in the lower campsites. Pit toilets available but no other facilities. Very dusty, bumpy road. Not many sites available however it was very peaceful. Lots of mosquitoes. Close to Crater Lake boundary. 15 minutes to park entry, camp store, gift shop, restaurant, dump station.

Make reservations and bring bug spray

Very big campground. Group sites available. Tent, backpacking and RV available. Long walk in lines in summer. Lots of mosquitoes. Good hiking and fishing nearby. Walk to campstore and restaurant. PCT camp sites nearby.

No services available

Enjoyed the near empty campground despite no services. Local NF campground was full so we opted for this campground and didn’t regret it. Fishing in the creek just steps from the site. Each access, level sites. Not good for tents, no grass. Good hiking trails in the area.

Free for all!

Camped in the open field for $25. Must purchase recreational use permit in addition to site charge. Field is wide open with some roads. Just pick a site! Some campfire rings established. Easy walk to the beach. Lots of surfers.

Nice facilities. Very slope-y!

Absolutely loved Kings Canyon! Nice sites however not many are level. Lots of bathrooms but no showers. Easy walk to campstore, post office, restaurant, and visitor center. Many trails close by. Very busy in summer. No reservations. Tent only loops available.

Just okay

Be prepared for cold and fog. Bonus if you get some sunny days. Very difficult to get a walk-in on the weekends. Most sites are small. Not very private as they are somewhat close together. Sites are level. Lots of shade. Bathroom were old. Good Verizon service.
