Pretty cool place right outside of bend

Stopped here on my way up north, and was not disappointed. There are quite a bit of spots down the road after the no shooting sign. Some closer are easy to access while others further on can be quite challenging with how many rocks are sticking a foot out of the ground and then the roads start to slant at points as well. I only know that because I walked the whole badlands from the sign to both ends where one ends with a cliff, and the other ends up at some off limits industry zone. There were a lot of open spots further on if you can make it passed the rocks.

Some great views so it was worth the walk, and had no problems with neighboring campers either, might be more fun to come back with a bigger car haha

Great time

Had no real issues here, I purposely parked in a spot I thought I'd have the best view and I got what I wanted. Was a little rough of a drive for my 2013 ford focus hatchback, but there is almost always a second way to get anywhere if you drive around for a little.

Was on the top of a hill so as to be expected it was never not windy, made PBnJs because I didn't want to deal with my grill even. Had an amazing view where I could see donkeys roaming, jackrabbits hopping about and various other desert like critters. Could also see the all 3 hot springs from my spot, so I would know whenever one opened up, even if it was quite the walk. It was well worth it at the 2nd pool. The first one was a little blue kiddie pool like thing that was WAY too hot mid-day. Unless you like feeling like you're being cooked aliveā€¦ The 3rd one wasn't useable and had a bunch of fish in it, witch was cool to look at and that seems to be where the donkey drink from. Water was clean as it could be and it never seemed to be too busy while I was there.

Didn't think places like this existed, hope to be back!

What I expected when you ask for camping in arizona

To get in there is a gate and I only tried the right path in a ford focus hatchback, but made it successfully to the very back spot with some careful driving, if the ground was any more uneven my car might not have cleared some of the spots.

Other than that this spot was wide open and close to some nice cliffs you can easily walk to. It was great and exactly what I expected from arizona camping. Lizards, bugs, wind, sun, cliffs, cactus and some amazing views.

I'm sure I'll be back!

Open area and free

Was a really nice area with a ton of campsites off the dirt path or close to the river. Was a decent water puddle to get in and out but there is little path nearby where small cars can fit easily and make it though without worries. Bathrooms are currently closed and it's decently close to a dispensary if that floats your boat.
