Convenient to Interstate 95

Large KOA with plenty of pull through sites and several back ins. Its right off 95 which made it convenient on our trip. They have a pool and hot tub, neither of which was very clean, the hot tub looked muddy. The womens room was large and clean, but my husband said the mens toilets were dirty (I won't include details here).

There is a nice fenced area in the shade for dogs.

They have many cabins, some of which are on the side of the pond. The pond has a family of swans, and its nice to sit on the bench in the evening and watch them.

They were having an issue with the cable so we woke up to 2 men walking around our campsite. They actually knocked on our door to ask to hook up the cable to our RV. The way the cables run, they have them on top of the ground from site to site. Crazy.

A short stay campground

We needed a place just for the night so it worked out, but I wouldn't choose to stay for any length of time. Thats partly because we like campgrounds that are more woodsy and don't have cement slab sites. It was very clean, with plenty of available trash barrels and very clean bathrooms. There was a train somewhere nearby which will wake up a light sleeper. We were surprised that the pool was 1/2 empty and had dirty water. They did have shuttle service to the nearby amusement park.

Quiet, clean and friendly

We stayed for 4 nights during the week, and it was the quietest campground we've ever stayed in. We were told by a seasonal that its a whole different story on the weekend. There are 2 pools and lots of games that they provide the equipment for for free. Bathrooms were clean. Most sites are a good size. Fire pits are nice and big made with large rocks.

A lot of it is seasonal, but it didn't feel like it like others we've stayed in. People were friendly.

The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. A branch fell on the camper, and the owners son came right down and checked it out.

Our only complaint would be the spot they put the 5th wheel our cousin brought. It was too close to the road, and they wouldn't let him pull in so we were facing each other even though it would have easily worked out.

Older but lots to do

The campground is older, and the roads/driveways need work. For those looking for newer facilities, this isn't the place. There are no 50 amp sites. The rec hall and the bath houses are old, but we don't mind the old fashioned spots at times. Reminds me of camping as a kid. There are a lot of activities for the kids and adults. Shuffleboard, bocci ball, fishing, bingo, playground, pit luck dinners, etc. There is wifi available.

There are a lot of seasonal campers which can sometimes feel like you're intruding on their space. There is a page of rules to follow, the seasonals ignore them.

There is no black water hookup, only gray water. You have to have them clean out the black or dump on the way out.

Beautiful wooded sites

From the minute we drove in we knew we would enjoy it here. Most sites are among the trees and there are plenty of them for large motorhomes and fifth wheels. Very clean. No seasonal sites. Nice pool, bocci ball, horseshoes, basketball, etc. close to 495 but quiet

mostly seasonal sites

The rates were reasonable, and the grounds were clean, but its mostly seasonal sites with 3 or 4 rows for daily camping up front. There are lots of kids, which doesn't bother us, but they run through the sites on their bikes. One of the things we love about camping is meeting friendly people along the way. It wasn't that welcoming feeling here. Some were almost rude.

Nice wooded area and friendly staff

Its located in a nice country setting. There are plently of different sites to choose from. Lots to do - swimming pool, mini golf, basketball. There's also a nice hiking area with a big pond with benches. Our only complaint was one of the seasonal families was allowed to be loud late into the night. We found it inconsiderate.
