Very nice campground, it is a resort style, but cheaper than many other "normal" campgrounds. We paid around 20/ night.
There is a 55+ community using the same entrance and sharing the pool and park.
The campground was about 1/2 full when we were here.
There are very clean bathrooms with showers and laundry. The pool is pretty big, it is almost brand new, and has all the pool noodles you will ever need.
It looks like all the sites have shade from giant pines. They smell great!
The area is rural and very quiet. Its a 10 min drive to town and 30 to the ocean.
Cell service with Verizon is good, but there is 50+mb/s WiFi.
We would come again!
The campground is probably the cleanest we had stayed in yet!
Most spots are shaded. It seems like 75% of spots are full timers and 50% work. The middle of the campground closer to the pool seems to be for shorter term guests.
There is no playground for kids but basketball tennis etc. We were almost the only ones in the pool during the week.
There is a really nice beach for kids 15 mins away on Hutchinson island.
Its a great campground for campers vacations. We paid $52/night.
The place is great, full hookups, bathrooms, showers, pool, hottub, tennis, lots of kids stuff.
It seems like most campers live here full time.
There was a group of obnoxiously loud campers in the hottub drinking and smoking in it with music blaring across the campgroundā¦ Kinda ruined the nature experience more than the rain did :) We paid 60.
The sites have fire pits and tables.
We arrived pretty late, like 9:30 pm and the host was still there to meet us, even with no reservation. When we woke up in the morning we found ourselves in a waterfront spot overlooking the gulf. We paid 25, the sites have full hookup but the 30amp plug was broken.
It was pretty quiet.
There is a nice beach a few block away, with public bathrooms and a big kids playground.
There are no bathrooms or showers in the campground.
Really amazing views of the lake and mountains across from site 203 and around.
Bathrooms are pretty nice with flush toilets and running water.
There are many accessible sites, bathrooms as well.
Campsites are close and there are a ton of them but the campground is basically emptyā¦ we can see every star in the night sky.
Absolutely no noise except the coyotes and my two crying babyās š
Verizon Lte works pretty well, 2 bars and 1.5mb/s without antenna and 10-20 mb/s with antenna.
There is a nice dock on the lake. Tonto national Monument is 5 miles up the road and really cool to see!
Gas and food is not close, so bring what you need.
We would stay longer if we could.
After being on the road for 3 months of federal camping it was great to have a heated shower and unlimited electricity š we paid 33$ per night and it included water and power but no dump spot.
The view from campsite 4 is excellent.
The neighbor spots are pretty close but empty during the week.
Verizon is very fast.
There are a ton of ants but if you sprinkle diatomaceous earth around all the touch points or tents it keeps them out.
It is quiet and well kept, even has security checking around periodically.
There is a 7 min drive to get out to anywhere.
Campground has at least 2 water taps and very clean bathrooms. There are over 20 spots, designed for tents but we fit in our pop up camper. Anything longer will be hard to get in. The parking spaces have posts around them so you cannot park on the dirt etc. There is no overflow parking.. so all has to fit in a 20-30 ft paved slab. There is another part of this campground across the street with more spots. You can hear traffic from the road, but not bad. Verizon signal is about 60mb/s. Plenty of clean space! We would come back!
