Drive fast take chances

Excellent location and amenities. Virtual workers paradise

Nice paved roads with meticulously kept grounds and flat cement pads. Very friendly neighbors and helpful staff. In the offseason when we stayed here it was very quiet. There is a pool, hot tub, laundry, tennis, bocce, playgrounds, and it’s walking distance to the pier, the beach, a large Publix grocery store and drug store, restaurants, and more. There are many park models here all very tidy and well kept. Our spot had over 90 digital channels of TV service and private (super fast) WIFI. Check out the Jetties Early Bird Special and the Square Grouper for live music and libations both right on the water and a short drive from the park. ATT and Tmobile service 5 bars. Our spot is at the top of a hill and has a nice sunset view and dry from any rain that you may experience. Good areas to exercise both biking and jogging. Located right next store to a state nature preserve for Gopher Tortise's

Good Location to Charleston

Good location for those wanting to visit the Charleston area without the hustle and bustle of the traffic. Close to Edisto beaches as well which is a good spot for the beaches. The campground has a great laundry facility, bathhouses were a bit muddy though from the rain we had. The pool was lively with guests having good fun and conversation. There is a mix of full-timers, those staying for long durations and folks like us passing through.

Great beach, tight sites

Stayed for a week, really enjoyed the beach and proximity to restaurants/ bars. Ended up being there during bike week so it had its moments of noise through the days/evenings. The park is under the runway for commercial and military aircraft and there is a helicopter sightseeing service that flys over all day long. ATT and Tmobile were not great, however, I was able to work with the WIFI and it was ok. It rained and the dirt spots collected water and made for some unpleasant days stuck inside. Our spot was right next to one of the bathrooms and isn't ideal if you wanted a little more privacy. The park does have nice space and trails to explore and is a very popular spot for fishing off the pier and enjoying the beach. There are 2 stores in the park, just don't forget your mask or you'll hear about it. They do sell firewood on the property and have fire rings at each site.

Fantastic owners

Terrific owners, super attentive, and personal. They take the time to chat with just about everyone who visits their property. They are relentless on maintenance and have about 60 acres to mow and care for. The store onsite has just about anything you could need for your stay including firewood. The river is fantastic and holds trout and smallmouth for those that like to fish. A popular spot on the weekends and gets busy with all types of travelers from class A super rigs to very modest trailers. Ended up staying 2 weeks as the wifi service is the best we have had on the road. The majority of the site is level and grass. I will be back for the bluegrass festival in August (Pickin in Parsons).

Really Nice beach location with covered pavilion

This is a mix of semi perm residents and travelers passing through. Beach at low tide is great for riding bikes on the sand. They have 2 pools and the staff is friendly. They have daily trash pick up and wifi (which only worked logging in with my phone).  ATT and T-mobile service are 5 bars. 7 miles to downtown St. Augustine which is a great day trip. They have cement pads and most are level (Spot 22 was not). This can be an advantage however if/when it rains. The best part is the covered patios with picnic tables to hang out in. There is a lot to do in this area and has endless food/sports bar options close by. You can also drive the beach if you have 4 wheel vehicles, however, I believe you need to get a beach permit to do so. Originally was to be here for 2 nights and extended based on good weather and location. Also, you can wash your RV here with a 10$ permit that can be purchased at the management office.

A cut above.

Clean, well kept, and nice. Nice concrete level pads. Modern clean restrooms and pleasant staff. Campground wifi is so-so. If your a remote worker on the road plan on your data setup to cover you through the day. T-Mobile and ATT connectivity 4 bars. Grouper bites at the tiki bar are very good. Pool and giant slide are a good way to spend a day!

Great last minute find.

Arrived at 10pm after a bust on our original spot for the night.. spoke to the owner and he said c'mon up and well get you set up. Ended up staying 2 nights as the views were great. Flat spots with very little work to set up a class c. Don, the owner, is a classic. Such nice people and a great view of valley below. If you find yourself near this spot this is a good safe spot to make a stop.
